One of the glorious beaches in Cape Town. Amazing views of Hout Bay. Water is warmer than other beaches along the Atlantic. It's just a bit of a shlep, but if you make a day's trip from it, then it's worth the drive.

One of my favourite beaches for winter kiteboarding. It is safe (do not go too far to the Noordhoek beach as that area not so safe) and beautiful

What a fantastic beach, it is safe to walk your dogs and there is a hub of people who are enjoying the safety and this world class beach. There are lifeguards and many surfers. My dogs lived the long stroll we took and meeting other dogs.

Be very careful with your possessions. I was robbed on this beach on the 6th of January 2023. Stunning for its beauty but dangerous beach for criminals.

I believe it's a rare day when Kommetjie beach is not windy, so lucky me for being there while it showed off. Lovely day out, nice and clean and lots of surfers out. Not to busy. Long enough that you can get a nice walk in
