One of my favourite of the 2 malls in Mitchell's Plain. Less busy (not as congested) but is busy especially late afternoon and weekends. Has most stores you could need, banking and restaurants

I don't have a problem with this mall. I get what I want. It's quiet, clean and people are friendly. The atmosphere is not stuffy, you have enough place to walk. The more people that support the more the mall will grow.The only issue that I have it is when it gets to winter. It's dark early evening already and no.lights in the parking. It's dangerous for single women to walk to the car. Would like to.see.more lights

Great place for some quick shopping. Gets pretty crowded over paid weekends. The main store is Checkers. The mall itself is pretty clean, something Checkers Westgate Mall can adopt. The mall has an excellent gym which run by Zone Fitness. Takeaway outlets at all three entrance.

A place that is not crammed with shoppers as other shopping malls in the area. A definite shopping Haven that is relaxed and peaceful. Filled with amazing stores and restaurants, and for the fitness obsessed, a gym too. Christmas shopping is a breeze at Westgate Mall. I come back time and time again.

I have been shopping a Westgate mall over the years, mainly because there is a Checkers super market. The mall is one of the quieter malls in the area, because of it's location. Most people in the Mitchell's Plain area are within walking distance of the other bigger malls. This makes the mall a preferred shopping place for others who need to be out of the everyday bustle of other malls. Shorter queues, quicker service are but some of the benefits customers enjoy.

There's WOOLWORTHS store and the gym.. that's the two things I like it about this mall

Love the big open spaces. Not too full on pay dates so more people tend to go here rather than the bigger malls especially when u want to just run in and out. Does not have a cinema which is bummer but you will find everything else you looking for.

I am very appalled at the the whole set up at the Mall. My very first job was at the mall at Shoprite before it became Checkers. I live within walking distance of the mall and always do my shopping there. I do have to say that since the games and cinema was removed it is such a bland and drab place to shop at. There are not that may options... Checkers is always full and most unpleasant to shop in.... and why is this the only supermarket in this mall? So last night when i got out the bus i walked into the mall. As i walked through the parking i found car keys with a drivers license of Mr MA Ajam. I notified the car guard saying that i will be handing it in to the mall security. This was just after 6pm... when i looked for security, they were nowhere to be found. Its dark, at the entrances there are people loitering asking mall clients for money etc. Worrying about this key, i walked to the other two entrances and still no one, not even walking around in the mall that was at this time, getting quiet. So my thing is, what happens if someone gets robbed or attacked? I was very annoyed as I was fasting and didn't plan this ordeal of running looking for security(this was not my first experience ) Eventually i had to hand it in to the Manager at Steers and asked him to please locate the security and hand in the keys.

This mall is a pleasure to shop at as it is not filled with as many shoppers and ATM's and restaurants are conveniently placed within the malls set up. Plenty of parking and taxi facilities available. Wheelchair friendly and a variety of stores.

Huge variety of stores. It's always a pleasure to visit. Not crowded like other mplain malls. Safe parking and they have a gym! Literally everything you need in just one stop.
