Checkers Zambezi Junction

What a rude, arrogant manager. He has no idea what making customers feel welcome looks like. As I was doing my shopping, my husband waited in the front of the store whilst checking his work emails. The manager approached him aggresively, telling him to stop taking photos of the store. When corrected he did not even offer an apology for his wrongful observation. We did however get a very aggressive and dirty look from him as he passed us paying at the cashier. What an unpleasant experience! Driving all the way from Cullinan as we always favoured this store, will most certainly be reconsidered.

One word describes this branch. Convenient!!!Good variety. Easy access and parking. Shelves are always stocked.

Packers. Please handle my fruit vegetables and fresh bread with care. I have just paid R1000 but my tomatoes end up with tins in the same bag. Not to mention the pawpaw and avo. No.

It looked like a boutique shopping center.... and was very welcoming. The veggies and meat sections - fresh fresh fresh. I love that they stock a different variety of a product. Service was friendly and fast at the tills.

This is a small Checkers but a favorite in the area. The store is clean and well stocked. The cashiers are friendly but not very efficient. Slow to check out no matter in which pay bay you stand. Staff is friendly but not very visible. Wheelchair friendly and easy accessible. Open, free and secure parking available. This Checkers has a Starbucks in the front entrance of the store. This sometimes causes a bottleneck as you enter. Over all not my favorite to visit.

Absolutely despicable service and false advertising!!!! Went to the new Checkers and got some of the items advertised on their pamphlet as specials. Got to the till only to be told that the special is only in the Northern Cape. I produced the pamphlet and they refused to give the discount, even though I was able to give them the pamphlet which showed the special. I DONT LIVE IN the northern Cape…. So WHY would I have a pamphlet from the northern cape?????? The staff and MANAGEMENT were absolutely useless and blatantly refused to uphold the advertised price of the item! I will NEVER use any Checkers in the future. If this is the ethos of the stores I will not support them!!! And i hope the store franchise realizes that word of mouth is the WORST kind of bad publicity for a business. I will most definitely let all and everyone know about the disgusting actions and attitude from this store.

Awesome store. Excellent meat. Clean and open. Checkout points fast and efficient.

Very convenient, get all your daily essentials from Bread to broomstick. Seafood and all your favorite wines in store.

The shop is need and the cashier are flexible. Whenever the shop is busy, more tills are open. Great service
