Mountain View Guest House

We spent a night on our way to a wedding. Nice, clean bedrooms with plenty of parking for guests. Rates are very cheap. The bed i was using can use with some replacement.

The gentleman/oupa was great and loving and welcoming but the lady was not, she did not tell the time to sign out the following day. She knocked and said is time out or else you will pay for another day. She was not friendly at all. The rooms looked lovely.

The rooms are small,and share space for bathroom,toilet and basin. The sleeping bed are very terrible

If you're trying to book via email, don't let the lack of response deter you. Rather call and make the booking. Breakfast was more than l expected and good, room was clean more than sufficient for a weekend stay.

Amazing people who own the place .Price reasonable .Clean and safe even for a vehicle.

I'm a manager of technical services and quality survey in 5 star lodges/ hospitality business. So maybe I'm over critical. This is a large 15 or more room guest house. Unfriendly owner. No smiles but we all have our bad days I guess. Place looked nice overall. Very helpful maid. Answered all my questions with a smile! She could be promoted to meet and greet. NO WIFI. First BB/guest house I found at 500 rand and under with no WiFi. I asked the owner if they had WiFi so I could communicate with my family. She seemed reluctant to give me a private WiFi password. But she did which was appreciated. Maybe it was a bad day. Anyway it didn't work. I was told to stand near the swimming pool for WiFi reception. My room was 100m or so away. Cell phone reception is one bar where I was. Could not send sms messages. Many of the rooms including mine definitely did not have a mountain view. Change the name maybe? Pack em in Palace"? Inside the room

Very quiet place to rest and relax after a hard day's work or after a long trip. The place is clean in and outside. I strongly recommend it to travelers.

I loved the place and the friendly atmosphere and staff, I felt like I was with the family. Thanks again. This is not my last time going there.

I was booked into the Mountain View Guest House in Zeerust (21 Drooge St, Zeerust, 2865) at around 01:30 on the 6th Of January 2018. The rules clearly stated that check out is the Next Morning" but at 10:00 on the 6th still Of January 2018
