The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great was full of Indians & whites, the way they were looking at us hmmmm, we left the area before we even finish our food even the waiter who attended us she was something else.

Capsicum Restaurant Britannia Hotel
Ate here earlier this year after many many years. I was impressed with the mutton bunny, taking into consideration the scarcity of consistently excellent bunnies(in Durban, believe it or not). I went back last week when the craving hit and I was yet again blown away by the taste. Spicy, authentic and I must note - NO pesky food colouring! P.S cocktails(specifically the Thirsty Horse) left a little to be desired but the bunny warrants 5 stars.

Delicious delicious food! Our server Nikki was really lovely and I will always remember that absurdly yummy bunny:) it did start to get quite busy so expect a bit of a wait but that just comes with a place this good. Be patient it’s worth it!

Made a lunch booking for Friday 30th December. They were extremely busy but accommodated us on time. Restaurant was neat, service was good. Their bunnies are very popular. Two of us are vegetarians. We were disappointed that the mixed veg. Curry was not available. We ordered the soya prawn and soya chops, nothing to rave about. The rest of our group enjoyed the kebab bunny and the chicken tikka. Soji for dessert was delicious. Will recommend.

Food was good but the place was really very busy. Orders did take a bit of time to reach the table. Also some of the diners in our group requested the veg biryani from the menu but sadly it was not available. The explanation was it's only made on certain days. Why have something on the menu when it cannot be served. Please adjust the menu accordingly We were in a group of like 16 pax. Definitely will go back soon to give them another try.PS. there is also a long waiting period for take away orders and it's not the first time that I experienced this but I guess it all boils down to efficient kitchen management. You rather call in advance.

The food was absolutely amazing..you just know that it's freshly cooked. One of the best home cooked meals in a restaurant that I've eaten. Didn't enjoy the bunny bread tho as I found it to be abit on the dry and hard side. I think they need to change their supplier of bread or brand as its not the first time I've experienced this. Sad tho as the bunny curry was quite tasty. Can get abit noisy as the restaurant fills up aswel. Service was great and a great family supper nonetheless.

One of our favourite local experiences. Mouthwatering curries. We keep coming back for more. Had the prawn & chicken curry tonight and it is to die for! The mutton curries, bunnies and samoosas are also some of our favorites. Thanks to Mini for the friendly and fast service. We will be back for more.
