Stayed over for 2 days on the way to Hermanus, and I have to say...it was one of a kind experience! The whole atmosphere was just different to the typical.I booked via Booking.com and it was such a good price, it was unbelievable. We stayed in the Miller's Cottage and the whole package included everything which was superb! One thing I would advise is to bring your own hand wash or soap since there was none in the bathroom.I loved the silence of the surrounding area, the chilled energy of the staff and the beautiful natural views of the farm, which all in all translates to a lovely wholesome stay. I would suggest The Manor House as your home away from home if you are a traveler who just needs a place to lay down at night. It is simple, peaceful and relaxing...

Very quiet, not much activity except swimming and walking. Peaceful. Rooms were clean and well equipped. I would have liked a bar fridge in the room.

Besides being a Google guide we also provide travel services to our clients in the UK. We arranged to meet before we left the UK and Dawie suggested we should come on Sunday morning early, so we set off and arrived within the time we had arranged. The venue was already busy and we could see they were struggling to cope. Always patient we were willing to reschedule, however instead of handling us with respect they did not have the decency to spend a few minutes to at least greet us and send us packing graciously. The working attitude always dictates the quality of service. A big AVOID for foreign visitors, we could never recommend this venue.

Advertising and the actual was not even close for the day camping. The poel was 2x3.5 and dirty. They did not even try to explain and was told that the manager will tell us that we are welcome to go if we are not happy.

This place is simply lovely. It's tucked away in a peaceful area. The hosts are the most hospitable and kind humans and I would recommend this place 1000 times over. They even do weddings here and I can only image how gorgeous it is to photograph with the beautiful buildings and grounds. The staff and owners are wonderful and they went above and beyond to help out a stranded stranger. Shoutout to Wimpie and David for being the absolute best humans alive. Also - great local wine and breakfast! Wish I could give 100 stars!

My daughter really wanted a destination wedding and this seemed perfect with the addes option of accomodation etc.We phoned and booked almost a week in advance. Upon arrival no-one knew about our booking, and a guy tried his best, but his knowledge was extremely lacking. So.. after quite a bit of negotiating our lives to all be present when we needed to go plus quite the drive for some of us, we left feeling very unhappy and deflated. Eben though it was on a Sunday, and well after check-out time, plus the place was very quiet, we were not able to view even one room.

Amazing place Dawie and Wimpie is so friendly. The events are awesome. Breakfast is great and affordable.My kids can play while we enjoy the quite and beautiful surroundings

What a stay! been going there for years and seen all the managers come and go! Carol and other Carol but Dawie and Wimpie are absolute Gems, we had the pleasure of meeting them on our return middle of last year and been back December and had a stay the weekend past returning home today. They are not only the most precious host I have come across and I see many in my line of work they are the best! Thank you for always making our stay perfect and welcoming us with open arms.
