My partner and I had an amazing time!! Service was excellent and cocktails even better.. the host, Yves was very welcoming and friendly!!

Had the most AMAZING weekend away for my hubby’s Birthday celebrations!I’ve had my eye on this little piece of heaven for quite some time now and honestly couldn’t have picked a more beautiful, tranquil and elegant setting to celebrate in.The accommodation was lovely, the food (Pizza’s are a must!) delicious and the staff were extremely friendly! The Spa offers awesome massages too.. Truthfully cannot fault the resort, I believe they are under new management and with a few minor changes such as investing in some new towels, a fresh coat of paint in the rooms and perhaps a small coffee plunger and some filter coffee in the rooms it could easily upgrade to a 4-Star!Thank you to the Le Reve team for your hospitality - sad to have to say goodbye, but we will most definitely be seeing you all again soon.

Such a wonderful setting and such lovely attentive staff. They were always so friendly. Dog friendly, which was wonderful. The rooms were basic but comfortable. We enjoyed the vibe at the restaurant and had a lot of fun.

The Jacuzzi offers a perfect place to relax and unwind while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The view from the outdoor Jacuzzi was breathtaking, and it's the perfect way to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE WE'VE BEEN TO.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.My wife and I visit guest houses and hotels all the time, all over the world. This is probably our first rating under 4 stars, and the first place we didn't like.. why? As Le Reve deserves nothing better than ZERO STARS but Google only offers ONE STAR ratings.I wanted to suprise my wife with a lovely weekend away at a Boutique Hotel" ... but ended up staying at the worst place ever

After giving Avril a difficult time (i am so sorry when making a booking ) because I am very fussy I have to give credit where credit is due!!! Avril, Thank you for the wonderful service and for constantly making sure I was comfortable, happy, and had what we needed. Thank you for being available every single time!!!!What an absolutely beautiful place!!! I haven't been at so much peace in such a long time!!! My husband and I had a break away from the kids and this was an absolute treat!!! While the food prices are a little expensive, I must say huge compliments to the chef the food was great!!! Star at the bar, your personality is so warm I simply adore you, Thank you for the excellent service and the awesome conversations, you made us feel at home!!! To the ladies at the restaurant, always smiling, Thank you!! Yves, you doing a great job, thank you for the chat!!!The rooms were so cozy and I loved the scenery, waking up to the bustling trees and fresh air-- Besides the mozzies, well it is a farm I could not get over the beauty of this place Everything about this place is so unique! So beautiful, so special!!! Every single guest that was there became like one big family over a few days, I was super happy and will definitely be back!!! Again, Thank you!!!Just a little suggestion,,maybe have some rechargeable lights in the rooms when there is loadshedding and the generator doesn't wanna do its job :)

We reached La Reve a day after the terrible storms that hit Western Cape mid June 2023. Upon arrival, the host was very friendly and helpful. The room however was very run down, dusty, not properly cleaned and had linen that was an off white color with insufficient blankets for the very cold winter. The curtains are very worn and extremely sun burnt and hardly covered the whole window. The voile was torn and had moldy patches at the bottom. The towels were big bath sheets but were stained with bleach.The wifi wasnt working due to loadshedding but took 4 hours to reboot after power was restored. The reception at the rooms are also very bad.The starters was palitable but the main meals were off-putting. The lighting at supper was very dim, but the presentation of gourmet proce meals were very disappointing and taste average. Breakfast included in the price is very basic and menu not communicated upfront. There coffee is great but not good enough when bacon and eggs took 1 hour to be served after ordering. The picture of the red deluxe suit matches the room, but the quality is bad, and very run down. The attitude of the manager and host was the only thing that made us stay, but we will definitely be looking closer at reviews before visiting another boutique hotel

Rooms dirty, walls dirty and lights not working in room. Bed old and uncomfortable and bedding horrible. Load shedding, but there was no back up plan, no candles and matches in the room or torch. There was no water at all, no provision made for the rooms, we had to ask. We had supper in the dining area, we had to ask for candles and the pizza ordered was burntI will not recommend this place to anyone, definitely false advertising on their social media pages. Very disappointing in the staffs attitude and behavior with regard to our complaints and the situation.

We had a “Sistercation”amazing place with the most amazing and welcoming staff. Thank you, the food was great, service was.excellent. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a get away. Thank You Yves, Genivieve and Caleb.

The setting, music, setting is wonderful. Our waiter was great, and also seemed to make the cocktails, which were great. But that’s where it ended as the food fell horribly short of good. The ceaser salad, with a bland white tasting nothing of anchovies, was made up of some Italian lettuce mix, three cut baby tomatoes and some Parmesan crumbs was terrible, the ribs were disgusting and the Greek salad also cheap. Unfortunately this could be a place I’d love to come again if the food was better, but I simply will not be ripped off again like I was with the below par food offering.
