The biggest mistake of my life was dealing with the Principal Attorney of this firm. This law firm received R150 000 from the purchaser of my property and the purchaser defaulted on the outstanding payment. Myself and the purchaser then terminated the mandate that we have with him as we no longer required his services. He didn't respond to our email about service termination. I hired another law firm to help the purchaser to recoup his funds from Anthony Wilton Thinane Inc and he didn't respond to some of our emails.I must admit that there were signs that this law firm was a potential scam but I made a mistake of not trusting my instinct. If you think Nigerians are the only scammers, some white people are on the list of scammers. I have reported them to the Legal Practice Council. At the end of the day, that money is going to come back whether legally or otherwise and it may take a two years or five but it will come back.Unlawful contract, late or no response to emails, calling a meeting and not coming through, over-selling and lastly the arrogance. Those were some of the signs I saw and some I saw too late already. If you see a small law firm that deals with too many aspects of the law, stay away. If there was zero or negative stars, I would give it to this firm. If they give back the money to the purchaser, I will edit my review and let it be known that they have done so. This review is my own experience with this law firm and I was dealing with the principal attorney of the firm Anthony Wilton.
