Beaches Restaurant
This little restaurant in the tiny town of Yzerfontein is simply fantastic. From the great service and friendliness to the view and most importantly the quality of the awesome food. We rode from Cape Town to get out the city and stumbled into this restaurant and very happy we did, it was more than worth the 1 hour ride and we will definitely be back.

Out of our whole trip to Yzerfontein, this was the worst place to eat. Overpriced food. Ordered 3 burgers. Did not even come with a bun, instead a thinly sliced bread, not thicker than a Provita. It was tasteless. We invite the owners to come to Gauteng so we can show them how a proper tasty burger is made at a reasonable price. Rather go next door or try Skafti or Skuim. Awesome food

Just gotta love a lazy, sunny Sunday on the deck, with sumptuous fish and chips & an icy Sauvignon. Best service by lovely Michelle. Thank you. Always a great spot with stunning views!

I've never had to wait 45 minutes for food before, but this happened yesterday (Easter Thursday). There seemed to be only two employees on duty....one cooking, the other taking orders and serving the food. There was no sign of a manager/owner.Yes, the view is wonderful....but you can't eat view. Small plates, small portions gave the game away. My hake was completely tasteless, the R45 onion rings were spindly and boring. The sauce was served in a tiny receptacle not much bigger than a thimble.Never again...

Having enjoyed this restaurant on previous visits to the area, today we were sadly disappointed and shocked at the value for the food offered and mediocre service in an empty restaurant - R105 for a Greek Salad that was more like a side salad. Calamari was over spiced and soggy! Such a pity as it has a beautiful view so much potential.

Nice pop in place when you are on holiday there. Swimming pool for the kids but could have more entertainment for kids like a play area. But overall very nice.

Lovely little spot on the beach... Even in winter a great vibe and atmosphere, cozy and warm while watching the roaring waves.Carol was amazing, so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable...Food was delicious and affordable, wide range of drinks available.

A beautiful spot overlooking the bay. We sat outside which was very pleasant. Had to wait a long time for service and food but they were contending with load shedding. Waitress lovely but did get a couple of things wrong but nothing major. Will be very happy to go back.
