The Clarendon Fresnaye Boutique Hotel

Great experience. Spacious rooms - great bed and very clean. The service was amazing. Delicious breakfast. Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic hotel in a great location and service is faultless. All of the staff give you a personalised and warm experience. Emmy is outstanding. She even went out of her way to buy me a hairbrush as I'd forgotten mine! Breakfast is delicious. Afternoon treats are a delight.

It’s amazing but there are better fish in the sea

Emmy, Abby and the whole team at the Clarendon Fresnaye did an amazing job from the start at making us feel comfortable and at home. The hotel was a perfect introduction to Cape Town and a wonderful way to start our honeymoon. The whole place is spotless and everyone takes great pride in what they do. We loved the varied and delicious breakfast each morning and loved to sit on the balcony overlooking the two swimming pools. It truly felt like we were staying in a home, and not a hotel. Thank you so much!

I highly recommend The Clarendon for any business or vacation traveler. The hotel is situated within walking distance of many boutique stores, cafes, and restaurants in the Sea Point area. The hotel also has a spectacular view of Lions Head mountain and is a short trip to some of Cape Town's best beaches.The rooms were neat, spacious, and contained all the typical amenities (pod coffee machine, SMEG kettle, bar fridge, snacks, etc.). Each room comes with room service and all staff are professional and friendly. The grounds are well maintained, with at least two large swimming pools available for guests to use freely.I've included some pictures (these were taken when I left, so I apologize for the half made beds lol). The rooms were flawless upon our arrival and the beds extremely comfortable! The high price point is worth the experience.

Stunning! Stunning! Stunning! This place is absolutely wonderful! The bed is as comfortable as ever. The cute little garden court by my room was lovely. The bathroom was spacious and the lighting was good to do my makeup and see what I was doing (which is surprisingly rare!). The pool was lovely. When you eat in the common area you have a lovely view and the music choice is really good too. The staff were phenomenal! They were all helpful and always had an eager smile on their faces. Overall, I recommend!
