The Beach Hotel
Have not physically stayed at the Beach hotel, we visited the verandah restaurant for lunch. Was very relaxed and service was great! Awesome view too.

We had a great stay in this hotel. It was quiet, the staff was friendly plus the Ginger Restaurant next door was the cherry on the cake. Breakfast was a big buffet. The filter coffee was really bad. The bar at the back had a really bad reception , it was the soccer finals...

Attended the milkshake tasting this afternoon and was shocked by the lack of service. When we came in, we were pointed to a table, no waiters came to us for more than 30 minutes until we called someone over and asked for the milkshake tasting that we had booked. Staff didn't bother to bring menus when we were seated and didn't even bother to check on us during the tasting. We wanted to order more, but the waiters completely ignored us, until I called them over for the bill. Dismal service for what is known to be a prestigious venue. Truly disappointing.

Loved it, loved everything about Beach Hotel. However, breakfast staff could clear tables sooner. The result is that one should stack all the food on one plate at one time, to alleviate your table looking as if you were eating six courses..

Lovely restaurant - be prepared to pay top dollar for your meal. Well worth the visit - great tasting meals accompanied by nice wine selection makes for a great dining experience... Very good breakfast and lunches served here too..m

My husband took me there for Valentines Day. It was the worst experience we ever had when dining out. The aircons was not working and when we asked the staff, they just said it's not working. They did not even offer fans for the heat. The food was horrible, I would not even give it a 1 Star. The 2 vegetables they had on offer was dried out and the other 1 was hardly cooked. The starters was tasteless. For a Hotel I was really disgusted in everything on offer.

Rooms need a little upgrade, Clean and comfortable. Friendly service, just not the fastest. Nice breakfast selection.

The Beach Hotel
I walked around to take a look at the rooms. I live in Port Elizabeth and I would like to stay here. Staycation vibes. Everything has an old world sort of charm but is modern at the same time. Staff are all properly trained and very friendly. I love this hotel.
