Mosetlha Bush Camp & Eco Lodge, Madikwe Game Reserve

Lovely stay! True authentic bush experience with open fencing and off the grid. The game drive guides are incredibly equipped with deep knowledge of the park and always delivered with amazing sightings. We bonded well with the other guests as it is a small lodge and you get a chance to meet over meals and sundowners. Would highly recommend :)

Don’t second guess booking a vacay at this incredible place! I just stayed for three nights with friends and it flew by. Obviously the safaris were an absolutely incredible experience, no doubt! But the lodge was just as amazing! Great food, great rooms, just perfection!I have to give a huge shoutout to the staff who were also just phenomenal! Monika was extremely gracious, kind, and attentive one morning I wasn’t feeling well. Next thing I knew multiple staff members were making sure I felt better since I missed the morning ride! I’m so thankful for how geniune and welcoming everyone was, especially Monika! She deserves all the gold stars, chocolates, vacation days etc!!I’m telling you! If you’re still reading this review you best get on your way to booking your stay! Truly an unforgettable experience!!

We had a great time in Mosethla. Our guide Jonny did an amazing job and showed a lot of animals to us. Thank you Jonny for these amazing game drives, you did a great job.We appreciated the friendly service in the bush camp very much, it was an unforgettable experience. The meals were amazing and the bungalows are prepared lovely.One of many reasons for us to join Mosethla (and not another one in Madikwe) was, that the game drives are longer than from other providers.When we come back to South Africa and do game drives again, we definetly will choose Mosethla again.

Wow! What an extraordinary experience. The loveliest staff, they are are so friendly and easy to get along with. Excellent game rangers who allow for the best game drives every morning and evening. The sightings were spectacular, I am in awe of the beauty of this place. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Amazing way to experience the african bush and wildlife. Really nice people and lovely food. Camp is central inside of Madikwe Game Reserve, so the perfect way to see all the animals.

Serene does not describe in its entirty the wonderful experience of 3 days and 2 nights spent - stary nightskies at camp fire; airport pick-up gone game drive combo; comfortable huts; very accomodating and heartfelt service at the camp; delish and tasty food, passionately prepared over open fire; focus on handy details in the camp whilst still being an eco lodge as well as on game drives (coffee shop and sundowner stops); experienced guides and rangers, well connected with others to provide for a once in a lifetime nature experience - to be repeated asap! - and soo much more - did I mention the animals !!!

You won't get a better bush experience than this in Madikwe. Johnny (one of the guides) is world class. Also far more affordable than other lodges at Madikwe.

The best holiday we ever had by a huge margin. The whole experience was perfect and I am not exaggerating in the least. If you are looking to take a safari type holiday and can embrace the fact that there is no running water or electricity (which enhances the experience in my opinion), you will not be disappointed.

I've been to Mosetlha twice now, and it is without any doubt, the best place to experience the bush.Monika the camp manager is an outstanding hostess who makes everyone feel like part of the family and because you spend a lot of time with your guide, they'll do their best to find the animals you most want to see.The camp itself is clean and well-designed with clever low-tech features like custom designed donkey-boilers for hot water.If you want to have a true bush experience and see wildlife like you've never seen it before, and you don't mind making some new friends too - this is the place to go.

Stayed here in May, absolutely loved the setting in the bush, it's not 5 star but if you want to experience the true wild Africa I highly recommend this place. Donkey boiler for showering really great. My only small dislike was the safari vehicle had a cover on and we do prefer the uncovered type for feeling more apart of the bush, and especially at night when it would have been so lovely to see the stars.
