This company is a joke ! When contacting them to move up from Durban to JHB they agreed to same day delivery, we waited 4 days for our furniture to arrive .Because of that we were forced to buy every meal and new clothes .Everyday they were late they promised it would be there today .When our things eventually came ,they broke out mirror , TV cabinet, Standing cabinet and left horrible scratches on our couch . They are ignoring all my messages and calls to resolve this. Do not waste your time and money , these people are scammers .The owner says i should email them to resolve the matter but i have been messaging and emailing them for over a week . I Caleb's(the owner) number ,he has been no help. The post replies here only to make it look like they help.

Incredible removals team here. From the gentleman in the office (Caleb) providing the quotation, to the team on the ground led by Innocent handling our property, the efficiency was just amazing. Although I made a last-minute booking, these guys made the move seamless and ensured all the furniture reached our new home without dents. That's all I wanted, a stress free move. Keep up the great work!

My sister moved from Pretoria to the coast. The service was absolutely dismal. DON'T MAKE USE OF THEIR SERVICES. EMPTY WORDS AND SHALLOW LOW PROMISES. Delivery was supposed to be on a Saturday and ended taking place 4 days later with false commitments throughout and after many many calls from our side.

MY WORST NIGHTMARE!The team were a day late to collect. Supposed to collect on 26 but only arrived on 27 April.We treated the team well, we bought them breakfast, we helped them move the furniture to the truck(by trailer) and we gave them a gratuity!The delivery was scheduled 01 May - as confirmed in writing.They did not arrive and did not even have the courtesy to let me know after I had made special arrangements to open the unit (a two hour drive from where I am based)…and then I waited in vain.The driver called at 07:29 am on the 2nd May and we arranged for delivery at 12:30. After another 2 hour drive, I was there on time but once again….this time the manager called to advise me they would only deliver at 15:00!!!They have NO COURTESY, NO RESPECT, NO CONCEPT OF TIMEKEEPING, AND ARE NOT RELIABLE WHATSOEVER!!!!!!!This is not acceptable.

Woow I never believed when my referral told me about you guys that right here in Joburg there are professionals like you. Well done, especially for your turn-around time of yourcollection & delivery. Was worried about the safety of my valuables until you arrived...thanks a lot guys

Would highly recommend not using this company.So many valuable things taken. Hard drives, portable chargers, cameras, you name it..I caught them trying to hide stuff under the blankets they use to move but unfortunately they still managed to get away with a heap of stuff.Even stuff that was in boxes and draws.Tried to contact the owner to assist but I was told ‘there were no loose items’.Do not risk it. Your stuff is not safe at all.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone! They are quick to quote you and book the work but that is where the communication stops. I booked a collection of household goods in Johannesburg on the 23rd of February for delivery in Cape Town on the 27th of February. For the collection the driver called to say they were running late which was understandable as it was 08:00 in the morning and there was traffic. They arrived at 09:00 and were done loading everything by 10:00. That was very impressive however, I had everything wrapped / packed and ready to go. I mailed them on Sunday to find out what time I could expect them on Monday. I received a reply from Caleb (Sales and Booking Manager) on Monday morning at 08:11 that there was a pressure leak on the truck and they were stuck In Colesberg. I called him immediately without success. I proceeded to call him throughout the day on his cellphone and landline without success. The driver then called me at 18:00 to say they had an issue with the alternator and they were stuck In Bloemfontein. How did they go from Colesberg to Bloemfontein? On Tuesday the part had supposedly arrived for them to fix the alternator and get back on the road. The driver updated me that they were in Colesberg around 17:00. At this point Caleb had still not called me back after leaving numerous messages! The lady who answered the landline advise I could expect the delivery on Wednesday after lunch, following which Caleb mailed me the same information. On Wednesday morning I checked in with the driver who advised they were at Willowmore near George. Then at 13:00 on Wednesday they were still in George, so I would only get my goods on Thursday! It took these guys a full week to deliver my household goods from Johannesburg to Cape Town! Then when they eventually arrived they held my stuff hostage until I paid the balance, however would not show me my stuff or offload until I paid. I have never experienced this in any of my moves before. To date I have still got received a call back from Caleb, he would not even speak to me from the drivers phone as he was too busy! He is an absolute coward!!! Never ever again

Good Day,I honestly will not recommend EFI Removals to anyone unless you want:• Your furniture mixed in between other people’s furniture• Trucks delivering late• Your goods damaged after delivered as their trucks are leaking waterWhen trying to resolve damaged goods:• You get ignored (calls, emails, WhatsApp)• You get blackmailed to remove truth about how they do business.There is no customer service, and they over promise and are very dishonest!I booked my furniture relocation from KZN to JHB via EFI Removals agreed on both ends:• Pickup Date: 20th December 2022• Deliver Date: 21st December 2022 (08H00am)Original quote was for a 6Ton truck, I have instructed EFI removals to please quote me for a 8Ton truck as the truck will be too small. They have sent me a new quote which I have accepted and paid for as requested.REFER TO BELOW OF MY CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERINCE:I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO MAKE USE OF THEM!!20 December 2022I reside in a block of flats and have asked if the pickup guys can be at my house any earlier to prevent any delays for them as they will get delayed due to load shedding as they require to use a service lift in the building to move the furniture out of my old house.Caleb agreed to sending his staff earlier with no addition comments or conditions.Upon arrival at my house the bigger truck which I PAID for, had other people’s furniture in it. This was upsetting as I had to pay for extra space on the truck, yet the truck became a “shared truck” without me, and I also suspect the other client even knowing of it.21 December 202210:35am – I had to call Caleb and the driver from EFI removals to follow up where the truck is, as they cannot call/ message you with any updates.This is only to find out that the truck has never departed from KZN, and that they will only arrive in JHB the following day.I have expressed to Caleb that I am not happy about this as this was not the agreed arrangements, and I had to pay for additional accommodation cost, food and clothes for my wife and children.18:20pm – Caleb agreed that the truck will be at my new house in JHB at 08H00am on 22 December 2022.22 December 202207:58am – Feedback from Caleb “Yes they are on their way”08:59am – EFI Removals truck driver called me and advised me he has not left the depot in Randburg as yet.During the delivery of the furniture, I called Caleb and advised him that I have noticed some boxes are wet, and that his truck is leaking water. He advised me he will chat to his driver and revert back with feedback to me.He never called me back. As per his driver he even was onsite while I was in the house unpacking, yet he did not bother to come see me.23 December 2022Once we started unpacking most of the boxes and moved most of the boxes where they need to be unpacked, I wanted to assemble my children’s bed, to which I have discovered the bed was hidden behind the boxes when they offloaded, and the ENTIRE BED WAS WATER DAMAGED.This is a pressboard bed, thus the moment the bed gets in contact with any water its damaged beyond repairs as the timber swells and the wood wrapping peels off.Tried calling Caleb multiple times – No Answer10:20am – send him images of the bed and requested how this will be replaced.Tried calling Caleb multiple times again – No Answer24 December 202209:47am – send Caleb a follow up message to inquire about the damages caused.NO RESPONSE FROM CALEB OR EFI REMOVALSUp to current date: 07 February 2023, EFI Removals and Caleb is refusing to respond to any message nor take any calls.I have also proposed to meet with him to resolve this through this time-period which was declined.IF YOU CONCIDER TO MAKE USE OF THEIR SERVICE, GOOD LUCK!!!

Be very careful when moving with EFI removals. We only had a small load, so it was to be a shared load from Johannesburg to George. They collected our furniture on Friday 14 April, and the truck was going to leave the Sunday 16th April. Our furniture would arrive the Tuesday 18 April. On the Monday evening we get a Whatsapp saying the truck hasn't left, O, and by the way there is no space for our furniture on the truck. After I kicked up a huge fuss, they said they will make another plan. They then loaded our furniture onto a trailer, where the deal was it was going to be loaded in a closed truck. When the truck was about a 100km from George, I get a phone call from one of the managers. They demand full payment now, else the truck won't stop in George, and go straight onto Cape Town. I didn't know if the truck had even left Johannesburg, never mind where the truck was. I refused to pay until the truck was at my house, then I'll pay before they offload. After a 20 minute argument with this manager, it was agreed. Then I get another Whatsapp, that I must please arrange for more people to offload the truck, as they only have 3 people on the truck. I refused to do so, and said the loading and offloading was for their account. When the truck arrived 2 hours after they said they would, I get another Whatsapp saying I must please pay these 3 guys R100 each for their extra services, to which I also refused. Their quote included:-- Shuttle service in both Johannesburg and George- Loading and offloading of furniture- Pay deposit and remainder on delivery- Goods would be transported in a closed truck.None of this was done. I paid for a shuttle service in both Johannesburg and George, and neither side there was a shuttle.I am honestly very disappointed in how this company operates, and once they have your furniture, they do as they please. There is absolutely no way, I will ever deal with them again.
