What a wonderful experience from The Raj. Excellent and polite service from three different staffers working in tandem.The food was well-prepared and served timeously. First class.They stay open until late and accomodate different kinds of diners - from singles and couples to family groups. And yet, it never feels crowded.The view out to the ocean gets them extra points. And there's a full bar. They only need to improve on wheelchair access.

The 'Raj Restaurant' as it initially opened is no more. They closed the restaurant during the COVID mass restaurant/bar closure period.The Raj remains accessible through a small takeaway at the Woolworths end of the Harbour Bay Mall . Opening hours are from 12 noon to 10 pm (I think) .There are various dishes to satisfy a curry pallet catering for the vegetarian as well.....of course but more importantly,in my book,covers the meat dishes one would expect to find on any self respecting Indian menu . I had an itch and it was satisfied.Pricing is fair, service was friendly the wait time ok.There's Curry competition though in both directions Simonstown and Fish Hoek......wonder which door I'll be knocking on next,enjoy

The guy at reception was really rude, we asked for an empty glass to feed warm water (brought with us) to our kid, he denied stating that we can not have things which is not brought at restaurant. Over all below par experience.

The food was good, but not fantastic. The service standard take away service.I noticed a well attired chef in the kitchen... perhaps letting the customers see the chef and some of the kitchen may inspire and encourage customers as to the authenticity of the food

Scrumptious, delicious authentic North Indian food, this restaurant located in the new Harbour Valley Mall. This restaurant boasts fantastic ocean views and a full bar facility.
