More or less what you’d expect from a franchised roadside restaurant. Nothing special, nothing spectacular, both in the variety and the quality. But well worth a visit.

Thank you to the friendly staff of Maxi's Ventersburg. We had to make a fast stop and they prepared 2 delicious meal and coffee for takeaway under 10min.

Wonderfully unexpectedService was excellent, food was really good and quick. All-round positive experienceMatilda was our waitron and the service we got was 5-stars.I would definitely stop here for road trip breakfast again!

Friendly waitress! From entering you can see it is CLEANED regularly! The food was delicious. Salad - crisp lettuce and coffee amazing. You deserve a 6 star! Great service. Thank you. Bathroom clean (one globe just not working by ladies toilet.)

What a terrible experience. We have been stopping at Maxi’s for years but not sure what happened now. The food was horrible. I had a Maxi breakfast. It was the most revolting Patty one can eat. The coffee was undrinkable, and when I told the lady at the till that I am unhappy, she just said it is not her problem.

Super friendly and fast service. Building outside looks a bit old and delapidated but restaurant is clean and tidy. Definitely a 5⭐ experience. Pleasantly surprised.

No. Just no. You use All Gold tomato sauce bottles, but it has diluted cheap and nasty tomato sauce inside. The Maxis branded mustard sauce looks like it is 50% water. One of our friends' burger patty was raw. Sorry, next time we are supporting the competition again, or we'd rather continue to Kroonstad.
