Everton Waterfall

Wonderful short entry level hike. Clearly marked trail. One is able to rest and take in the sight of the waterfall. Kids are able to play on the swing while parents take a breathe by the waterfall. So much beauty right on our doorstep.

I loved this hiking trail, I just wished there was some clear guidance to navigate the place. The markers didn't specify the destination.

A short 3km walk will earn a view of this hidden waterfall gem. For avid hikers it will feel like you have hardly started walking before arriving at the waterfall. The trail loops to the waterfall and back to the road, with a clear walking path, along both banks of the river, and reassuring markers every few hundred meters. It is an unofficial trail of the Krantzview Nature Reserve so parking is on-street without car guards. Although the location is so secluded and peaceful one feels at ease to park there. The Krantzview trail, across the road, is longer and even though it is accessible from this location, the reserve reminds one with signage to rather start that trail from the official entry point within the reserve.

I felt at one with nature here. I didn't know this little paradise hid away in a city. A beautiful walk and plenty of sights to see. I go here with my dogs often. Seems to be safe and I have never ever ever had any issues here. Always come across friendly hikers. The river water seems to be clean and my dogs love swimming and playing in the water. Beautiful for picnics as well. Highly recommend! It's good fun for everyone and the walk isn't long at all! There is a short and long way. You can decide which walk you want to take.

Beautiful experience at the waterfall, not the biggest, but it looks very intriguing. Crytal clear water, very cold.

Short, relatively flat hike to a beautiful little waterfall. Parking and start of hike is in Acutts Drive (Everton Conservancy Molweni River). This hike is in a loop, up-river along the river towards the Gillette’s/Everton Waterfall and then the path loops back along the oppersits side of the river.

One of my personal favorite waterfalls to go to. The walk to the waterfall is so tranquil and scenic. Lush greenery. Well preserved and quite an easy walk
