On my visit on 24 June the manageress was reprimanding a staff member over the phone in the store at the dumbell section. Raising her voice while on the conversation. This is utterly unprofessional. This is something you do in an office, away from customer. Unless you want to be a show-off.After that she told a staff member to be of service in another department. This while standing one side of the isle and the staff member on the other side.This is something you do in close range of a staff member.

Blaming customers for putting stock on incorrect shelves is incompetence, poor customer service and shows no management skills. Sad because generally sales staff have been good, pity about this particular manager...

Store manager is entitled and does not offer a wide range of solutions to problems. A simple exchange took 2 visits to the branch and 2 calls which resulted in a refund because there was no regard for customer service nor retention

The store should close at 19h00 on a Friday, but I arrived in front of the store at 18h54 and all the doors are closed already. Interesting while other stores in the mall trade until the same time and their doors are still open. Attitude of the store management.

Today 15 September 2020, I had the BEST shopping experience at Totalsports Tygervalley. I walked around in the store a bit because I was shopping for a very difficult customer ( my son) who has so many issues with clothes and the type of fabrics he can wear that doesn't irritate his skin, then there's the fact that he doesn't like to wear black T-shirts and his T-shirt needs to be a loose fit etc. My son has eczema and isn't confident with his current weight so that is why he won't wear certain fabrics or certain tight fitting T-shirts, it's not because he is being difficult. I was in the store for about 2 minutes and was already feeling a struggle coming on, when I heard a friendly voice behind me saying, Excuse me

Got a sportsbra as a gift. I never tried it on, but saw that it was too big and went to exchange it for a smaller size, after we were told by a Totalsports employee that we would be able to exchange it. However, when we got to the counter they told us that we are not able to exchange it. This is a sportsbra that was never tried on, that I would just have liked to exchange for another size. The manager would not budge and would not allow us to exchange it. Directly after being told by a Totalsports employee from the same store that we would be able to exchange it. We are very disappointed and will not support Totalsports again :(

Phoned in to ask if their any jobs available the lady told me yes and said I must come see manager went all the way from kraaifontien to tigervalley what cost money and money for a cv the manager tells me yes we have an opening we will call you don't worry and still waiting for a call company shouldn't tell people their openings and stuff and lie to the people making CVS cost money and traveling and I remember the Manger name is Shaun

Went to change a garment for my son who has an account. was told i cannot change asI dont have a letter from him or his account card. went back two days later and told its loadshedding and they cannot exchange during loadshedding. A big company like total sport. they could have exchanged and did the paperwork later. unfriendly staff having conversations with each other while you have to stand and wait for them to finish before telling you they cannot assist you. I am disgusted. For retail and client satisfaction their staff is pathetic.Mrs Thomas

Not impressed by the staff at all. The sales communication is really lacking to make a customer feel valued. I had to go look for a staff member willing to assist me. One was too buay taking stock, other too busy washing floors, and finally found someone by almost entering the store room. Instead of assisting or making other suggestions. I was bluntly told they dont carry certain sizes in that brand. No sales etiquette and seemed like i was interrupting their leisurely morning. I literally walked out and bought the items from a competitor.
