Hoedspruit Airport - Eastgate Airport

Nice, clean and quiet. Looks like newly revamped (my visit on 2 Dec 2022). Located inside a game reserve.

What a gem of an airport! I will strongly recommend to anyone from Limpopo looking to fly to Cape Town. You get to avoid the horrible N1 and its traffic and rather go to Hoedspruit and fly directly from there to Cape Town. There are 2 service providers, SA Airlink and a lesser known Cemair. I travelled with Cemair recently, and what a pleasure. It is exactly on par with any other airline brand, with the benefit of their flights not being booked as full. Cemair tickets are not more expensive than its competitors, and a little known fact is it costs basically the same to fly directly from Hoedspruit to Cape Town, as it would from JHB with the benefit of skipping the N1 highway, toll gates, congestion and massively overcomplicated Oliver Tambo Airport. Cemair is truly a well run airline and they provided the best service. Go and check them out, they cover most major routes at very competitive prices. We'll done Eastgate / Hoedspruit Airport and Cemair for a wonderful travel experience!

Tiny but well maintained airport with clean toilets. Very memorable landing experience with wildlife running beside the airport runway. Probably one of the quickest luggage collection I had since they are handed directly from the baggage cart to us

Airlink flights daily to this little gem of an airport. The bushveld theme starts once you land with the surrounding bushes. The luggage and check in is personal and staff is friendly and helpful.

True feeling of regional airport. Personalized service. Great view of the Kruger National Park, the drankensburg mountains and Hoedspruit as you fly in or out of the airport

Lovely rustic airport with a pleasant waiting area. Fits into the bush environment.

Really small maybe 10x10 m but everything was smooth

TINY airport, looks chaotic... But surprisingly efficient! (Not much to do in the form of food or drink... Let alone trying out Duty Free perfume samplers! Lol)
