O' Grady's accommodation

We were a family of 4 adults with 2 dogs. We stayed in Ouma's from 28 Dec to 1 Jan 2022. The accommodation was very quaint, clean and comfortable. The scenery is magnificent. Didn't catch any trout but did catch and release a few bass.Absolutely perfect accommodation if you want to take your pets.Make sure you take everything with you as the town of Dullstroom is 18km away from the farm house and quite a trip on the dirt road - you can't just quickly pop out for anything.There is a games room with table tennis, outdoor braai area, lapa to have meals outdoors and so much more. Perfect place if you enjoy mountain biking, taking long walks/hikes and just enjoying nature.As mentioned in other reviews, you definitely need a 4x4 or high-rise vehicle to access the farm, but it is worth the trip if you are looking to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this secluded destination.We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend O'Gradys.

The farm is lovely the owners are accommodating and sweet, and the house is quaint and cozy, BUT the road going in is about 18km of sheer dirt road torture. It shouldn't even be attempted with a regular sedan... it's a horrible road, and that's a shame, as it means we won't ever visit there again, even with our SUV.

We stayed at the granny's cottage and it was cozy and beautiful. High clearance vehicle is highly recommended. Everything about it is beautiful. It's also a good place for a small wedding cause there's a church

We stayed at the Macabelel Lodge and it is truly breathtaking, the photographs do not do it justice so go and have a see for yourself!Very clean and all neccesities included such as crockery, cutlery, towels & bedding.Beautiful fireplace in the center of the house that keeps it nice and cozy during the cold.

Amazing time was spent here with family and friends. We stayed at a farmhouse called Ouma's. The house has so much history and we kids and the pets had so much fun running around. The rolling hills and pasture is an jaw dropping sight at the break of dawn. The house had all the essential for a self-catering accommodation. Would visit again at a heartbeat.

Had a lovely time but the road there is horrible, and there is NO fish. We took a spescialst fly fisherman and he caugth nothing the whole weekend we were there!
