Awesome place, friendly staff. The neighbours are the worst. Before 10 they making noise complaints. So only go there if you are old and don't like loud music at a holiday resort, or else the neighbours will kill your vibe.

Little dated but spacious and comfy. Was disappointed to not see any Eco or recycle signage iro water saving etc. Towels should only be changed if left on floor etc not daily. And reminders to switch off lights etc. We all need to conserve and be more ecological where we can.

Worst resort to hav visited. No lifts. No porters. Condition of apartment 106 very bad. Stove does not work properly. No warning of load shedding. No staff at reception. We waited for 1/2 hr to enter the premises. Staff did not offer to apologize. No staff on duty for any emergencies. Wil definitely not recommend this place to anybody. The only two people that was helpful was Mr Shaik and Mr Peroshan

Very spacious and lovely view.Needs a bit of TLC but the staff are very helpful and quickly responded to missing utensils, broken light bulbs, etc. Main room has sea view and air con. The size of the apartment is incredible! Exceeded my expectations by far. Unfortunately a bit noisy due to being right on a busy street, but we had air con and could close the windows at night.

Lacking maintenance in rooms. No ceiling fan in main bedroom and broken ceiling fan in second bedroom. Dirty floors on arrival.

In pearly shells there is no elevator or wifi the rules state we not allowed to make noise after 10 even on special occasions and we had to be escorted by the police for chatting with family and friends we even came across a karen that wanted to report us for playing a speaker at 19:00 where as the rules state no noise after 10 i do not recommend this place if you wanna have fun and enjoy yourself

What a disappointment in Scottburgh…Pearly Shells has unfortunately become one of those basic, old holiday apartments in the South Coast that is rather neglected.Upon arrival I was already dissatisfied as it did not look up to standard at all…The units are not nice, extremely old and outdated also cleanliness is not up to the standards that one would expect. Old rusty appliances, old tv, old ceiling fans that wont make the place cool on a hot day, bathrooms just seemed grimey. The property needs alot of exterior maintenance, paint job is most certainly needed!!!!! Pool area was full of sand…. Cheap plastic patio furniture and noisy cleaners waking you up early morning….Rather disappointing that the resort has went downhill, but yet again one would think what impact Covid might have had on this place, however I rate my reviews on my latest experience.
