Sportsmans Warehouse Canal Walk

The staff is very friendly and well informed and knowledgeable in different sports. I buy all my running, wearables and apparel here. Would recommend poping into here if you need any sports related products.

Very helpful people and knew their stuff about shoes. From stack height, heel toe drop, recommended pace and distance per shoe. I recommend this shop to anyone shopping around for new shoes.

Good selection of sporting wear only checked the running shoe section and cycling. Nice layout - hopeless staff - tapped the counter while serving us leaning her head on her hand. No please no thank you !! No Management is what I saw.

Quite concerning that no one ever answers the calls. And a employee confirming that they don't have a product when it's literally right in front them. Just too lazy to check.However, an employee name Kyle! I have to say a massive thank you to him. After the terrible service from his colleagues, he came to the rescue. So calm & patient and ready to solve the issue. Thank you for being so kind & courteous Kyle!

It's an easy attitude to suggest that a sports shop in a mall won't be specialised enough to cater to people from beginner to expert.You would be wrong.Sales assistants in this store have passionate knowledge about the products on the shelves and they don't just try and make a sale, they seek to inform and educate - that's pretty good.Pricing of course, ranges depending which sport, but the key differentiator must certainly be the sales staff - a cut about the rest.Well laid out store so that you can operate in your own interests and it would be cool if they TVs running different sports in the store - or demo days for various sports.

Rightly or wrongly if a business doesn't have the courtesy to answer after repeated calls they get one star.Either they have too few staff or couldn't be bothered to answer. A few seconds call can determine if they have a product and not waste a trip driving there

Can't say anything bad about the store. I went in, browsed for the items I was interested in, paid and left. The staff were pleasant and the store was clean. Kinda the norm for a store I think. I've been back a few times so clearly they meet my needs and requirements.

I can't speak for all at the Canal Walk store but Amy gets 6 stars from me.When I phoned looking for a particular product she was friendly, helpful, helpful & more helpful & just kept looking for ways to get me the product despite not finding it on the shelf. She looked at combo deals, similar products & saw what other Sportsman Warehouses had in stock. When we weren't coming right She kicked into endurance gear & said she is going to see if the product is somewhere else in the store and will call me back. (Haven't we all heard that before to be met with an eternal silence) Not Amy, within 15mins my cell was ringing and an excited voice expressed she found the exact option I was looking for hidden in another department. - Go girl, you a star & I decided right there I was going to give her a big tip (gratuity).Because I couldn't get there for a day or so she gladly said she will put the item aside and create an product request so it can't be sold by mistake. SMS confirming so arrived a few minutes after we signed off.When collecting the item I offered her this tip which she declined saying it was against the stores policy to receive a tip. On requesting what I could do to show my appreciation she mentioned a review.I can imagine a floor assistant can be a thankless position with many negative experiences, disrespect & unkindness endured so her attitude, manner & efforts were exceptional. Sportsman Warehouse you have a jewel look after it.As a store Canal Walk leaves Tygervalley for dead as Tygervalley didn't answer their phone despite numerous attempts & it was confirmed that is Tygervalley's general approach. Secondly all the staff I dealt with at Canal Walk were friendly & proficient be it via phone or in house.Despite the distance & parking fee they have my vote.

Always have amazing service from this Sportsmans Warehouse branch - staff are friendly, knowledgeable and go out of their way to assist. Huge shout out to Ross especially for 5 star service this week, many thx again!

One of the guys working there got so pressed that my brother and I had bouncy balls in our hands he shouted at us from across the store to go out it back. We had to walk from the back of the store all the way to front just for us to make him happy meanwhile he didn't even offer to help us when we were in his zone. One employee saved the experience by actually just chatting to us about the products we were interested in
