Melkbosstrand Beach
Always a wonderful experience with great views. Lots of eyes watching cars etc was was a bit unnerving and very little parking on offer, especially on a warm day. But it is a fantastic place to visit

Lifeguards available at only a small portion. Tuck shop with ice cream and snacks. Nearby restaurant for other food.

Clean and well used Beach. Great time with the Family can be spent here. Best to pick your days, the Wind can have the tendency to throw the dry sand around, can be the only negative aspect. But overall it is great and there are tidal pools and collectables all over for hours of fun for Children. Town is nearby to grab a bite and resturants scattered along the beach line as well as hotels for stay over. Well developed area and well kempt.

Melkbosstrand Beach
Melkbosstrand Beach is a beautiful and clean location for swimming and other outdoor activities. It's quite a busy beach, especially on weekends so be prepared to share it with lots of people. It has three tidal pools, restaurants and lifeguards on duty. Be aware though that the water can be cold so you may need a wetsuit if you plan on going into the sea.

Melkbosstrand Beach
Beautiful deep open beach great for walking or just watching the surfers and others enjoying various water sports. Loads of parking and a great little ice cream place and spotless public toilets close to the lifeguard post more or less in the middle of the length of the beach.

Melkbosstrand Beach
I visited this beach twice. The first day was quiet and had the whole beach to myself. Huge open beach, soft sand and small little waves. Great for long walks on the beach. The second time was on a weekend over school holidays, so there were hundreds of people. However due to the wide beach, there was still room too move and enjoy a walk. Water is quite cold. Even with the hot summer day, i wouldn't go on for a swim.
