Renew-it Rivonia

My car was in for 3 weeks, communication was great yes but tell me why my car now has issues that it didn't have before. Renew it spends an entire day on quality inspection to offer mediocre service

The service here is so poor and I wish I never brought my car there in the first place. I was dealing with a nonchalant lady by the name of Shaylee who doesn’t update you on your vehicle, she doesn’t call you back after you call reception numerous times and I suspect she’s doing that to frustrate me after I clearly told her that I’d like this to be a quick job as it isn’t even my fault that the car is back in the renew it franchise in the first place! (Renew it greenstone messed up the first job and didn’t fix my car up to standard, hence it had to go back to the franchise.) Renew it is just an awful experience no matter which branch you go to! I do not advise it!!!

Shocking service from start to finish. They said ten working days to get my car then extended that and after 12 working days I told them I urgently needed my car for a trip, I was assured it would be ready two days before they told me it wouldn't be ready a week late I informed them I needed my car urgently for a meeting and they told me it would be 100% ready. An hour before my meeting they tried to delay again. Through out all this I had to call them for updates. Updates were vague, no timelines were stuck to. Zero communication. If you have a choice never ever use them to fix your car.

Absolutely horrendous service. The process took around four weeks for a simple repair. I was not given accurate feedback from Isaac. He called me with the exact same information about my repairs two weeks in a row. He was dismissive and lacked the ability to understand the frustration of not know where my car was or what stage of the process it was in. The company needs to work on their communication. If you can help it, do not use this organization.

Honestly if I could, I’d give them a negative 10. Worst service EVER. My vehicle was booked in at renew it Rivonia in September 2021 after it was in an accident. My insurer, Dialdirect, picked this service provider. They “worked” on my car for 6 months. When they brought it back, all seemed fine until a few months ago when I realised that the paint on the part they had worked on was sort of “melting” (for lack of a better word). They disputed that the paint defects were as a result of their shoddy work and alleged that I took my car to another panelbeater who worked on the car and subsequently did the shoddy paint job. The service I’ve received from them has been appalling to say the least. Mind you, they’ve provided absolutely no proof of their allegation that I took my vehicle to another repairer. They were paid by my insurer and now refuse to accept liability. I haven’t had any work done on my vehicle other than by them. Just know that if you’re going to use renew it, expect the absolute worst! I’ve seen reviews on hello Peter with the same issue and now I’m not shocked. Seems like that’s what Renew it does.

Shocking customer service. Only when the car is brought-in do they start ordering parts, and so a simple bumper repair job takes multiple weeks. Rather than adapting their system so they take partial payment upfront, get the parts, and then turnaround the vehicle quickly for the customer, they repeat the tune it's not our fault there are delays

When getting your car fixed you should be able to rely on the expertise and professionalism of the service provider. Renew-It Rivonia falls dismally short. Unfortunately, my insurer picked them. My car has been at Renew-It Rivonia for 5 weeks and 2 days and they are only now ordering parts. So basically no progress after almost 6 weeks and confirmed by their staff when I called! It's really shocking how poor the service and business model is. Their staff as well, Ashton has not been giving updates. I have to call her to get any update which adds to the frustration. I will definitely not be using them again; I will insist on a different service provider. They have no clue about customer service

Went to collect my car. Job was not done correctly. Dents still remainder and paint work was not good enough. Don’t know how it passed QC.Went back next day and stuff was still wrong. Inside panels installed incorrectly. Seatbelt was stuck behind plastic panels.Car badge were missing and not attached.After going back 3 times I finally got my car back.-communication was also all over the place. Not consistent and misleading.

Possibly the worst panel shop around. And it’s shocking that big insurers still have them on their panel. Had my car for 2 months got it back with a bent axle and a hanging bumper.

To say the workmanship on my car is bad is an understatement. I'm appalled by the fact that my vehicle is more damaged than it really was and at risk of more damage. The right fender was not secured, the paint work is atrocious and my windscreen has chips that I didn't have when I dropped my vehicle off.I had my reservation about taking it, however now feel more upset that no form of quality check was done.My wheel alignment was not done, the car gives an alert on brake disengagement and it is not to the standard I have assumed renew it would provide a service.This is not the correct fender!!! There's a clear misfit and no one noticed.More misery to my experience.Please stay away from Renew-it Rivonia
