Riaan has an honest buiness that was able to repair and service my 2000 Toyota Prado for my Cape To Cairo trip at a great price.I took my vehicle for a quote at a large well known 4x4 centre that quoted me for R14 803.94. I then took my car to Riaan with the quote. Him and his team were able to do it for only R7 257.65. The work was done in a timely manner and Riaan was in constant contact with me about any problems arising and always offering his professional advice on what was best for the car, including the option to attempt to repair a part rather than replace it, this saved me alot of money when he was able to repair my rear suspension's lower bushes at a cost of only R230.I will always recommend Riaan and Gavin to work on any car as they have the utmost integrity and will never overcharge you and get work done at a great price in a timely manner.

Very friendly and helpful. Detected my issue within minutes of opening the bonnet as opposed to it taking 2 trips and 2 days with my mechanic who could not find the problem. Had my power steering repaired here.Staff were responsive, knowledgeable and professional. It's only been a few weeks but so far the repair seems 100%. I'll edit if something changes but so far so good. An easy recommendation.

Living in Somerset West has its drawbacks. My 2014 ML Mercedes at (164 000 km) developed a nasty squeak. I took it to my regular repair shop and was told it was the shocks. I had my doubts and took the car to Hi-Q. This time it was the swayer links. Then I thought I let Rola Mercedes Benz dealership have a look at it. I was told that if I didn't go ahead with their quote they would charge me R 980 (they later added VAT on top of that). Basically they found I had to replace the whole suspension plus shocks. Total estimate ... RK 139!! I started looking for a workshop in and around Cape Town that does only work on suspension systems. I found 3 places. One was SB&S in Montague Gardens. I checked the reviews, started with the worst, but still found that their reputation was good. I didn't expect it THAT Good. They checked my car and gave me a quote for RK 18 which I accepted. They had all the parts in stock. I took an Uber back to Somerset and 3 hours later Riaan phoned me. He told me they stripped all the components and checked them thoroughly. All in good order. A few components needed tightening, but nothing he could find that was wrong. He cleaned them and put it all back and no more squeak detectable. I took an Uber the next day and took a few bottles of wine for these guys. When I was about to settle the bill Riaan told me he won't charge a thing, because he didn't replace a thing! I couldn't believe my ears. I hope you enjoyed the wine Riaan! My faith in my Mercedes is restored!
