Bidvest Insurance

Bad service, bunch of crooks. If you really want to have a peace of mind you better avoid them. They bring problem to another problem instead of bringing solution. People pay for their service but when it comes to claim it's like you are begging them. Never, ever use their service again. For future reference if you want to protect your car, find out more about the claim process, because this company is just a pure scam.

Been waiting for a reimbursement for 4 months, no feedback was given, I've had to constantly call and email still to no avail. All of a sudden my policy was cancelled. Would never recommend Bidvest to anyone

Bad service. I can’t wait for the next 14 months to be completed. I won’t take any services from Bidvest, never.

I've opened a policy with bidvest insurance (scratch & dent & tyre & rim cover) last month on the 18th Feb & I was told if I take my car to PG Glass for inspection & forward them the inspection report the cover starts immediately & I do not have to wait for 90days to claim but to my surprise sunday the 6th March I scratched my front bumper & Monday I reported the matter trying to process a claim they told me I'm still on waiting period of 30 days & they won't be able to help me now & to make the matters worse they have received all my other emails except the one where I attached my inspection report from PG Glass they insist they never received it & I sent it about 5 times asking them to respond or confirm if received up to now no response from them very very bad service I'm now considering canceling the policy before more money is wasted on something useless.

Broad daylight rip offs! Had a tyre and rim policy with Bidvest Insurance and when I went in to have my tyres replaced (at Tiger Wheel and Tyre), I was told that 2 of my rims were buckled, very likely damaged due to potholes. When I called Bidvest Insurance to put in a claim, I was told that only if the tyres are damaged as well, will they pay me out for the rim repairs. The guys at Tiger wheel and tyre had a good laugh and told me that Bidvest is talking utter nonsense. Tyres don't necessarily get damaged when someone goes over a pothole. Again, when I took this policy with Bidvest, this was never mentioned to me and painted a pretty" policy where I'm always covered. Several years of monthly payments to them

have been trying to contact bidvest tyre insurance to submit a claim for 3 days .have not spoken or had any of my emails or calls returned .day 4 and no tyre dealership wants to have any dealings with bidvest.i am required to drive 80km to the nearest tyre mart with no spare just to submit pictures .

I had the most horrible experience with Bidvest insurance, it took them a week to attend to my claim after calling numerous times. When they eventually got to it they refused to pay out and sent me from pillar to post . They now canceled my policy without paying. With all those premiums they deducted

They don’t reply to emails,, once you agree to buying a policy they not gonna attend to your queries anymore

Bidvest Insurance so far has been incredibly disappointing. Get called by an agent to take up a scratch / dent policy on my recently purchased vehicle and having agreed to the policy get zero feedback. Then while trying to phone them to find out what's going on calls get cut off, get put on hold, numbers don't transfer. Are Bidvest really serious about selling these policies? One would think so if they employ agents to sell them, but who knows..
