Beautiful surroundings. A true forest and lake experience. Good bass fishing as well. Bring your kickboat or canoe.

Beautiful area and a lovely view across the lake from the double story log cabin. Nice setup. Rustic and Comfortable. Peaceful. Could do with a little improvement on sofas and better bedding etc.

We had a lovely holiday at Stanford Lake Lodge. The cottage we stayed in was basic, but had everything we needed. The farm itself is beautiful and we loved boating on the Stanford lake, as well as the Ebenezer dam and walking through the pine and indigenous forests on the farm. The farm is close enough to Haenertsburg and all the activities in the area. It is also near the beautiful Magoebaskloof area and only 30 minutes drive from Tzaneen, where one can stock up on food at the Checkers.

Went here for mountain bike . I did not sleep at the lodge. The mountain bikes trail are moderate to hard especially in rainy season but the views are to die for. The views of Ebenezer dam through to Berry farm and Zwakala Brewery.

Amazing place!! So beautiful!! The cabin is neat and they're is plenty of space! Such a bonus to have the cabin serviced daily.

Wonderful stay at Stanford Lake Lodge. The people have done so much exstra effort with interesting facts about the farm and trails. Amazing place to swim and enjoy the lake and waterfall

We enjoyed our 8 day break from the maddening crowd. We walked the paths which took us through various forests both planted and beautifully indigenous. Having brought our inflatable boats; we paddled our way on the private lake and Ebenezer dam. The cottages are comfortable, clean and all necessities are present and in good condition.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your double storey cabin, it was fantastic! The setting at the dam provides a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a break away from the city. Day walks on the property with the dogs were amazing, especially if you are into birding or just in general for exploring the beautiful natural surroundings. Perfect for families and couples who want to take a break. It is cold in the winter so go prepared, but the fireplace inside is just amazing!

If you want quiet time to relax and reflect on life this is a good spot. The cottages are clean but basic so don't expect too much. The log cabins looks modern, but the winner remains the serene environment. I enjoyed walking amongst the pine trees.
