The place is beautiful but I wish they can put it on their website that it is not self catering and alcohol from outside its not allowed we had to go somewhere else for day visiting to chill braai and have our drinks and went back just to sleep

Had a wonderful girls lunch out on the 16th of December 2022. The setting is beautiful. I love the atmosphere. It's just surrounded by large trees and it's all green with flowers, which I definitely fell inlove with the moment I entered. Especially because I love taking pictures. The food and the cocktails were amazing and I loved their service. I would definitely go there all over again. I would love though, for Lion's Guest house to get a bigger space so that their rooms are not closer to the restaurant. But other than that. I love it.❤

Rooms are cleaned well & staff is very friendly. Breakfast was always late and the food wasn't great. Menu isn't diverse or inclusive of diets that don't eat red meat. Didnt have much to eat so I would eat at the mall. The towels I got were old and yellow and I didn't like that. They offer affordable laundry services which I liked but I requested for an iron and I was told guests don't get irons, they have to use the laundry service and pay for the ironing.

Had a great time and very friendly service from the staff on Saturday night. Lovely venue. Have flea markets at month end too. Will visit again.
