Blacktown Vet - Animal Care Veterinary Hospital

This vet saved my cats life after he was bitten twice by a red belly black and I cannot be more grateful..was it expensive..yes..was it worth it..yes..would I do it again..without a doubt.When we arrived he was taken straight in and assessed and the vet was upfront about what needed to be done.She was efficient, told me the price and then saved his life for which there is no price too high for me.So say what you will but if you go to an emergency vet it is going to hit your hip pocket as they are on call 24/7 but you should factor this cost into owning a pet.

We take our chihuahua Zeus here over the last three years and he is always well cared for. The vet is lovely and Zeus is happy to walk back in each time, (which he hasn’t done for other vets we’ve been too) I take that It’s a sign he is well looked afterOur chi has had alot of health issues with his breed and they always accomodate and suggest what js best for him. :)

Thank you for saving my rabbit Mr Bobo. He was bleeding badly from the face at 9pm. By 10pm the vet gave him surgery and stitches to stop the bleeding. Bobo recovered overnight and I picked him up the next day.The vet was upfront about pricing and wrote down each medicine and expense for the surgery to help us understand. She was kind and gave us a pensioner discount as my wife has a disability.Bobo is now recovering at home and has returned back to his hoppy happy self. Still adjusting to wearing a cone but he is quite smart and is able to eat and drink. Thank you again and Bobo will see you soon!

Expensive but when it's an emergency she has done a good job. Seems rude at first but she is a no fuss just muster kind of person. My dog does not like her but from his perspective she is not good news.

Very professional, kind, warm, gentle and beautiful vet doctors and staff. They looked after one of my babies Cowboy and he was in the best hands. I'm so happy I found them. Highly recommend and friendly.

My bird was checked today by a doctor and never said he's at the last stage or dying no point of giving medication but instead they just give medicine and got money. Such greedy ppl and he was eating a bit moving before but after medication he stopped. Got killed by the greedy doctors.Very bad you deserve no 0 start.

A lost scared husky was running in Sunnyholt Road Blacktown and would have ended up dead if we didn't get it's attention.I own a takeaway shop in Blacktown so I asked my one of young employees to drive the dog to a 24 hour vet to see if they could hold it overnight.The lady who was working at this clinic at around 7pm Thur 15th June was very rude to my employee. She invited her in but when she found out there was no money involved she yelled at her to get out and then slammed the door behind her.This place doesn't care about animals they care about money. The woman working at reception should be fired.If the owner of the clinic wants to apologise I'll consider removing the review. If not, then it's a pity there's nothing lower than a 1.

Sharing my own review. I paid $90 for a consultation. The male vet checked my 4 year old English staffy, charged $50 for calming tablets. I think it's depends on what your dog needs determines the amount required. I was happy with the service. If you need to, apply for vetpay

My dealings with the vet here went very well. She was very attentive to my dog that urgently needed stitches after his paw was cut wide open from some glass at the park.The added bonus here is they have boarding which works very well for me - someone with multiple dogs that cannot be easily seperated for long periods of time.

Overpriced and very greedy. My cat was bleeding profusely from his paw and the vet wouldn't even look at him until I paid him over 500$. I said I'd do a straight transfer and he said no, just cash or card. My cat recovered after another 550$ spent but I'll never go there again. I do not recommend this place at all, there are other better, cheaper and more caring vets in blacktown. Don't go there, it's not even about the price tag,which another vet said was ridiculous, it was the total lack of compassion if I didn't pay up right away he was going to close the door on me.
