I’ve never received such Bad service like this. I booked an appointment online from 11-12 am its 13:06 now I’m waiting to Pay they keep on Skipping numbers and I have to return to work when you Ask the Cashier lady she’s being Rude towards us. Bad service ever!!!!

They deserve 0 stars, I was turned back twice last week without any assistance. Suzy the supervisor was also rude telling us to not tell her how to do her job, you have to pay R200 to jump the queue if not you will be turned back. This is the worst DHA ever!!!

Received such great service yesterday. The booking system works well in my opinion and everyone was really friendly and helpful... people always speak bad of DHA but I think a big part is ur own attitude going into it.

It was terrible.... horrific is the right word. Pensioners are given preference between 8.00am to 10.00am. Excellent. But once you in you just join the long queue... every queue should let pensions through like they do the disabled. They don't inform you why certain people are not able to work... I.e. computers down etc.... you have to ask them and they are sooooo rude.. to experience it you must go through it yourself...I am so ashamed of this department.

I applied online to go get a new id. Online says I need to finish the application at home affairs in 60 days. I went in 1 week. I arrived today at 6.20 waiting in the queue to get my id. They arrive at 8 to tell me I must wait as the system is down. At 9:20 I was told to leave no walk ins allowed. I told them I applied online they told me I need a booking. I told them they didn't give me a date only to come in to finish the application. They just sent me away. I even had to use a toilet that I had to share with other woman and men. I am truly disappointed with this service. I will be taking this matter further as they just want money as they said to me if I give them R150 they will push me to the front of the line. The system is corrupted and poor service.

Went there to get death and marriage certificate for my parents, got there by 8H00am, lines and lines of people, the security guard is so rude, he needs a personality and says only speaks his language no English, inside its such a confusion, just to pay over an hour, than was told have to wait 3 months for unbriged marriage certificate got the marriage certificate and no death certificate was so annoyed that I did not check left 1H00pm. Now to go again. All over the walls they say they prioritize pensioners nothing like that even people with cane they make them wait. Horrible place

I applied for an ID and passport by the end of November even today iam still waiting for an sms,,I went there twice they said I must wait for a sms...iam stil waiting and very disappointed

Terrible service. They open late, and make you queue outside in the freezing cold. They don't even deserve a 1 star rating. Go to any other home affairs but not this one, it is a living hell.They are supposed to open at 8:00 but only start allowing people to enter at 8:22am. I don't know why they make everyone queue outside when there are plenty of empty chairs inside.They have 8 collection counters but only 1 person working so it takes over an hour to do something that should take less than 10 minutes.They have a ticketing system but don't even print you a ticket, they write it into your ID book. I'm shocked and appalled.

Home affairs robbed me, I paid for my passport, did my finger prints and was instructed to wait until I receive an sms to pick up my passport only to find out they cancelled my passport stating I didn't not pay.I visited the branch showing them a receipt of payment. Nobody helped me, they were rude and told me I must contact head office. I contacted head office who then said I must go back to the branch. Home affairs is useless

I made on online appointment to get passports for my newborn twins. They completely skipped my number. After an hr and a half my husband went to the photo booth to ask for help. The woman who works there was so rude. No consideration for the fact that we had babies with us. It took going up and down to 3 people before we were assisted. Utterly disgusted!
