D'Olive Rose Boutique Hotel

The place is not very difficult to find and they good food with nice rooms. However there's still a lot of improvement to be done here, they are not very well organized. We had to travel back and forth from the sleeping place to the main office for dining.The shower in my room was showering the wall and so I didn't have a proper shower. Their breakfast also ends very early (6-8) and it's winter now so you have to wake early for breakfast, very inconveniencing.

Depending on the time of week and which room you get, it can be a good or bad experience. On the few occasions that I have slept here I have had a few good experiences where the room was quite and comfortable, as well as bad experiences where my shower did not have any pressure and the room was noisy.

WiFi down in secondary location. Dead cockroach in the bathroom. Live insect under my drinking glass. Unflushable maggot (yes, a maggot) in toilet. Dusty floors and cupboards. No security for vehicles parked on street despite being assured there would be a guard. Woeful experience - perhaps they've become lazy seeing as how options are limited in Postmasburg. I will not be back.

Room a bit small but big enough for a business trip. Basin next to coffee station a nice touch. Coffee station comes with little sachets of real milk for the coffee and tea provided. Room comes with wall mounted safe. The airconditioner was great to warm-up the room before getting up during the cold with the temperature outside around freezing point

The owner did justice to the decor but the attitude of receptionist is not accommodating and will turn even the devil away. You may think that you're booked into their classy guesthouse as advertised, but they fail to inform you that you will be placed in a dormitory set up on the other side of town where even the body movement of your neighbour is amplified. This amounts to deceit!!!! Tell me if you're fully booked especially when I make an effort to confirm please!!The parking is unsafe due to it being outside of the premises. Cameras cannot stop the damage to ones vehicle or the painful and endless police and insurance jargon.Their food is less than palatable plus you have to travel from where they dumped you to the main guesthouse where all meals are served. REALY!!!!! d'Olive Rose Boutique hotel!!!!! REALY!!!!! All these negatives cancel the decor and the good work of the cleaning staff

The place was clean and warm with luxurious touches, and thoughtful and efficient staff. The only reason I am unable to give five stars is because my vegetarian colleague was not catered for in spite of alerting the guest house to her dietary needs beforehand. This is a serious shortcoming, and I trust it will not happen again.

The room I stayed in was very big and well kitted except for the fact that there was no wifi signal, there was also no generator linked to said room when loadshedding occurred. Looking past these two issues, it was a good stay. These issues are also only part of a new building they acquired and the rest of the building doesn't have these issues.
