DISAPPOINTED: Make sure you get a quote first.They were quick to respond as my filter was leaking from the outlet. However I am disappointed by the fact that they never quoted me on changing the filter sand or gave me the option to purchase the sand myself. When the bill came they charged me R400 per bag of sand = R1200. The sand they bought came from the Pool Team and costs only R154.95 per bag. The total bill was R2500. I had no choice but to pay the bill as they would not reduce it. So I feel cheated as I have changed filter sand myself for years - I didn’tcall them out to change the filter sand.I sent them this whatsapp message to which they didn’t respond:“I would like you to think about things from my perspective as a customer and what could improve when dealing with customers.When I called you out it was because the filter was leaking. If I had known it was because of the sand I would have done it myself and saved R735 which is a lot. But I wasn’t given that option nor was I given a quote before work was carried out so I was unable to make an informed decision.When I take my car for a service they phone to tell me what is wrong and give me a price and then ask me if I would like to go ahead with whatever needs to be fixed.I paid a call out fee and then work was done without me knowing up front what it would cost.I will pay the invoice later today but unfortunately I won’t be able to recommend you to others because I feel I was not given the opportunity to decide. I chose you because of the favourable reviews I read online.I realise things are tight for everyone and especially small businesses like yours. But I hope my criticism will be seen as constructive. Better up front communication about costs would enable customers to make informed financial decisions before getting a shock from the bill.”

Managed to fix a pump for me in about 40 mins, at a really reasonable price, especially when compared to elsewhere which told me I needed a new pump.

Very good service and turnaround at a very reasonable price. Team there are honest ito understanding what needs to be done and providing a good solution
