I had a good experience at Wheel Collision. The Diamond cutting on my wheels are beautiful. I returned twice because of the clear paint reacting and lifting a few days after. With that said I am very happy with the restored rims, they are near to perfect. The staff are friendly and understanding. No other company in Cape Town can achieve what they have on my tiny 13 inch 1983 Daihatsu Charade Alloys.

What a pleasure to have had dealings with Wheel Collision in Montagu Gardens. They kept my vehicle safe for 2 weeks whilst I was trying to resolve a wheel issue. They didn't charge me for putting the wheels on when they finally arrived. They were helpful and patient. Thank you to Chris the Manager and his team.Great service. Utterly disappointed !!1 Stripped and 4 loose wheel nuts!On collecting the vehicle, I happened to notice that 1 of the wheel nuts was missing, we were not informed, on asking the service agent to confirm that all the Wheel Nuts had been torqued correctly, like all other Tiger agencies do, this he confirmed , then admitted that he had forgotten about the 1 wheel nut that now was cross threaded and had been left in the boot! (1 out of 4 is not important was his comment, car is fine with 2!!)Further on arriving home, I checked all the wheel nuts, 4 were loose!!Tyre pressure also not correct, 2.9 bar for a car that is recommended 1.8, as well as a left right difference of 0.7 bar !!Total lack of interest or any professionalism.

Below was my initial experience. However, I am very pleased with the professional way in which everything was dealt with subsequently. The manager got involved personally. Obviously, comparing to to quality of the final product, the previous attempt was maybe just poor oversight. I must say, the final result looks exactly the same as the original wheels, if not better! Overall, because if the personal attention, professional conduct, keeping their word, and honouring their warranty, I definitely will make use of their services again. In fact, I am referring my son to them to take his wheel for repairs.Apparently they are the only place around Cape Town that can repair rims “according to manufacturers’ standards”. Is that true? After a few months the top layer clear coat paint on the two rims repaired were starting to flake off. The black base coat was also not original, because on the other two wheels the black is high gloss. The repair was repeated under “warranty”, but the wheels look worse than before. The black edges are chipped, but covered with clear coat. My concern: where is the quality control? I actually blame the manufacturer approved panel shop that sent my wheels to them. I am sure Mercedes-Benz would not approve of the workmanship. The wheels are going in for a third time now … ….

Would definitely not recommend. 2 of my rims were repaired by them. The clear coat is flaking off due to poor workmanship after I had my tyres changed. They insist that they need to remove the tyre to fully inspect" whether it's their workmanship or the fault of the people who did the tyre change. Weird that my other 2 rims had their tyres changed but the clear coat is still perfect. So much for them charging a premium to get your rim back to "OEM spec".They also make it very difficult to resolve the issue (no loaner rim provided)

Had my rear wheels straightened, was given loan wheels, car drives like new again. Was allowed to look and understand what was wrong, how it gets fixed, and shown previous poorly completed repairs. Can’t complain with that. Would recommend.
