I have been dealing with Property Shop for almost 20 years. I have rented through them and they have also managed my rental portfolio. They recently sold my property in record time, under nearly impossible circumstances. They are professional, friendly and efficient, and I have only ever received impeccable service from them. Whether you are buying, selling or renting, they are definitely the best in Pretoria!

I am still having a terrible experience with property shop. They act in the owners interest first and then their own interest. The tenant gets the last straw. I still haven’t received back my deposit from March 2021. Had to get lawyers involved to fight for what’s rightfully mine. They will also try put wear and tear on the tenant. I would suggest turning away to another agency if possible. I have provided images and done everything I could. Still fighting.

We lived in one of their properties for almost 2 years, the second year we spend over a month in total without electricity due to the owner not paying. We then decided we had to move out as this was a safety concern. They then kept the deposit and sided with the owner. Worst real estate agent in the world. Not to mention the horrible service and lots of fees.Edit after moving twice since being with them and dealing with other rental agencies. They still are by far the worst.

Out of all the agents in Pretoria, The Property Shop is absolutely the worst. They tempted us with a viewing and came to actually do a listing. After calling them and advising them to not do a listing or any advertsing, they still did it. They took herendous photos and had no tact. Worst of the worst!

Horrible work ethics! Contacted agent, was assured the property was available, no need to process paper work for approval beforehand, made an appointment. All in writing! Got stood up, and then told property has been rented. No apologies, just lame excuses!

As a tenant in a rental unit managed by them you will always have the shortest straw, they will have the owner and their own interest at heart. Unauthorized deductions from deposits, battled to get stuff fixed and forced rental increases. Pass them if possible
