Extremely disappointed with my recent interaction with Michael Miller from AVC Durban branch. Usually we have a very good relationship and we've been doing business together for a while. Michael doesn't seem to understand that we are a big company and we have to obtain 3 separate quotes before we can decide on a company to do the job. I informed Michael that I wanted to make AVC the default supplier for AV equipment for our company so that we do not have to go through this process but after my interaction and his unprofessional attitude, I will not be continuing my business with his company and will remove the tender with immediate effect.Almost a month ago we requested a quote to get 2 conference rooms setup with new projectors, white screens, cameras, ceiling mics, etc. Michael evaluated and told me what he can offer us to get the job done correctly. Now after all 3 quotes were evaluated I contact Michael to proceed with the job and he tells me that the Camera and Mics are not in stock and will only arrive in a months time - we need the job completed within 2 weeks so that wouldn't work for us. I asked if there were any other solutions and he offered me things that were more than twice the price for one room (over R130k). I asked if we were able to source the same camera and mics, if he would still be able to supply and install the balance of the equipment, he said yes sure (this was yesterday) - I was able to easily source the camera and 4 x mics (same model), and I ordered it for delivery the in 2 days. Now today - he messages me after I requested an updated quote for the new job without him supplying the camera and 4 x mics for the one room, and he tells me that there is no stock of the projectors and white screens. I mean seriously. You're an AV company and you cannot get the basics done. Then when I questioned him, he goes on to say, well why don't you go get our competitor who you purchased from to install it" and "yes I caused Corona virus

the after sales service seems to be bad.No response to emails or the telephone.
