Levingers Dry Clean & Shoe Clinic

Terribly disappointing experience. Went in to stretch my shoe. Gave specific and clear instructions and to my disappointment, my shoes were over stretched. Staff are not good at all. Would not recommend.

End of the month, and the only staff member able to operate the till went shopping. Several people came in and left. Waited 15minutes, and to add to it, really expensive for terrible service.

I arrived a bit early and was duly assisted by Gugu, who opened the store early for me. She couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating!

Worst service imaginable and poor cleaning to go with it. Avoid at all costs.

Brought a suit for dry cleaning and some alterations. Week after payment it's dry cleaned but no alterations done. A week later alterations done but store assistants are reluctant to let it go because of a smell coming from the suits dry cleaning (most likely not dried properly). Left the suit with them for a further week and when I try and collect the stench is still there and assistant advices that he sends it back to the dry cleaner and I get the suit on Friday (this would be 4 weeks of trying just get the suit back). 3 weeks for a basic dry cleaning and minor alteration is no good. Nice staff but just very unprofessional service for R450+ of labour.

Damaged my stuff.

I have used this service for three years for cleaning, dying, repairs and alterations. Their service to me has been uniformly good with the staff always efficient and accommodating. My last small repair was done on the spot while I waited and without charge, which is appreciated. I am thus very happy with their service.

Slow turnaround times, expensive and half jobs - this was my experience at Levinger's Benmore.I am dissatisfied with the service I've received from Levinger's Benmore. I took a pair of suit pants in last week to be altered and advised them that it was urgent as for a wedding this past weekend. They advised me it would take 3 days (for a hole to be stitched up). I collected and paid for the alternations last Friday. However when my boyfriend put the suit pants on for the wedding, the hole (quite a large hole) had only partly been stitched up!I have taken at least three items to them this past week - dress to be dry cleaned as well as shoes to be glued. I was quite shocked at their steep prices, therefore was expecting them to do a good job.

Lovely ladies working behind the counter. Went above and beyond to assist me with my dress. Thank you!
