Brilliant secret little shop on Essenwood. Take any shoe for fixing or cleaning. Plimsolls and sneakers like new. Even my oldest Supergas whose soles were yellowing have been restored! Caution with suede shoes as some of the cleaning process can leave the fabric a little coarser.

I handed my takkies in on thurs 23/03 at 09.00am, for a wash and sole cleaning, Pd R355.00 -was told that a sms would be sent maybe today or 2mrw, no sms sent,so I called in at AFTER 15.30PM and was told that it would be ready 2mrw early in the morning ie 24/03, Morning passed,I called in at after 1 pm to be told it would be ready 2mrw 25/03 in the morning, I called in now after 11am and was told it would be ready and a sms would be sent at 12pm 2mrw the 26/03. Please advise why I keep having to call in as there is no turn around time given? If I was told it takes 4-5 days, I would of accepted it but this is ridiculous.... First and last time I use your business.

Takkie wash did a phenomenal job on my shoes. It literally felt like I was buying them for the second time. They kept their promise of the turn around time with amazing service. I will definitely be using them going forward and recommend to anyone.
