Nice and clean. Therapist knew what they were doing. Place worth a visit...compares great with massages in Thailand...friendly staff

Went for a half hour foot massage . It was a terrible , lackluster rub . Clearly , Nana had no knowledge of anatomy. She only rubbed the top half of my foot . No pressure points or manipulations .It was literally a Thai lady giving a 'massage'.

Sarina Thai Spa is a place everyone should visit. Ladies there are so welcoming and energetic. This woman Tina did wonders to my body. It was the massage I've never experienced before, very soothing and left me rejuvenated. I am fresh, can walk distance without feeling pain and my whole body is so light. This ladies deserves a pay increase and good bonus this year. Will definitely visit the Joburg branch at the Glen soon and hope to get the same experience I got from Tina. Big up to all of them!!!!

We had a really nasty experience yesterday. Our one therapist Dina was extremely rude and unprofessional. This therapist was talking continuously during our treatment and had issues with everything i said to her. My husband and i were actually left traumatised. The two local ladies came in to help and assist us but this therapist pushed them and screamed for about 20min in the reception area. I was afraid she was going to get violent. We also paid for 60min but was only treated for 50min. We wasted R650 and did not get anything close to what we paid for. This is not the way to behave with clients and now discourages us from going to any other thai massage place as well.

The worst experience ever. It was my second time there and I’m both occasions - I had negative experiences.I was booked with a friend of mine. Booked for 2 hours each, we got there only to be convinced that we should rather do 1h30min because 2 hours will get boring. As soon as we were done, there was other people walking in for their massages - it made sense why we were convinced to reduce our time because it was more money for them.Anyway, our therapists were talking and laughing the whole time while massages us. My masseuse was on her phone half the time, massages me with one hand while pressing her phone. There was lots of lost point of contact and I could even relax. What a waste of my money!

I booked for a couple. Unfortunately, our experience was not the same.My husband's therapist was chinese, he enjoyed his treatment.I on the other hand had totally different experience from him. The therapist needs more training.Not what I expected or have experienced at similar establishments.A speedpoint would make the payment process easier.

Great ladies, great ambiance and affordable prices... Would be great if they had a card machine, but other wise a lovely experience

We booked a 1 hour couples massage and they only massaged for 50mins and it was the most unenjoyable massage I've had, the ladies kept talking between themselves n it's rather distracting when you are trying to relax and enjoy the massage but they were so caught up in their own conversation that they were literally massaging anyhow and for the sake of it and my body is still aching till today.Waste of money.Having been to Thailand I requested Thai ladies instead of local and the local lady over there treated me so coldly like I did her something but it was just about the technique the Thai ladies use that I enjoyed but this place doesn't offer that same experience unfortunately.

Unfortunately the rating app does not offer the opportunity to give a minus rating!My husband and I went in for a couples massage this evening and regretted it almost immediately.The 2 therapists were friendly and pleasant but that's as far as my compliments can go.They were well aware that I had booked for a pregnancy massage, they made mention of it upon my arrival as well yet no provisions were made to make me comfortable I had to ask for pillows to be provided and was given one pillow - I needed more to prop myself and be comfortable they could only find one more.The towel on the bed was damp. Our massage started almost 20 mins late. There were a few interruptions. My therapist had to leave amidst my massage to go answer the door. We did not receive Thai massages, what we got felt the same as someone applying moisturizer onto our bodies, just with repetitive motion. Understandably because I am pregnant I can only have a light pressure massage but the problem wasn't so much the pressure applied as it was the fact that there was no technique. I had to ask my therapist 4 times to focus on a particular area and she would spend a minute or so on the area and then go back to running a flat palm up and down my back! Only one of my legs was massaged, this is just ridiculous. They were interrupted by a colleague to let them know that the next clients had arrived so they just rushed over our massages and left, we didn't have a full hour treatment and my therapist didn't even care that she had not even massaged my other leg.This entire experience was so frustrating, the ladies are pleasant which I appreciate but they are honestly useless at being therapists. This was the worst massage my Husband and I have ever had. It is very disappointing that they advertise themselves as Thai massage specialists and pregnancy massage is advertised as a service they offer and yet we had neither!Definitely not worth visiting and not worth the money spent. We will NEVER go back.

If I could rate this place anything less then 1 star I would. Today hubby and I decided spur of the moment to visit the spa and where advised when we called to book an appointment they would reschedule another couple to accommodate us. On arrival we noticed all the massage rooms were empty and we were the only clients there. Firstly on using the bathroom facilities I saw dirty towels laying all over the floor, the toilet facilities were filthy and a dead cockroach lay in the bathroom.totally off-putting. Let me also not fail to mention that the 2 ladies present at the spa were not wearing masks. Hubby and I were escorted to the spa therapy room were we were asked to undress and we waited 10 minutes and no therapists appeared. Growing frustrated I redressed and asked the lady at the front desk what was the matter to which she replied they were waiting on another therapist. Bearing in mind this was a lie as they had to reschedule another couple there should have been therapists on hand. She offered to begin the massage with herself and another Thai lady and said once the other therapist arrived they would switch. I was totally disgusted by this as my hubby and I were paying for 2 Thai massages and bear in mind at R350 pp for 1 hour that's not exactly cheap. The therapist I was been given did not seem to be a therapist she was as I assumed and was told by my hubby from his previous visit to the establishment she was the receptionist, which made me irritate. Secondly it's a covid pandemic and she thinks as a client wearing no mask I would let her and another lady near me. I was so mad I dressed and advised hubby to do the same and we left. 10 minutes after leaving I receive a call from the spa I assume from the owner advising I should have called her and she offered us the massage at R200 pp. That rattled me even further as I don't mind paying the price for excellent service but it raised a question as to how she could discount the massage by R150 pp and take such a huge knock. I supported the previous spa that was here before spa sirina took over and they were brilliant. This new spa sirina looks shady to me, and I will recommend people think twice before frequenting them especially as health and safety standards are not what they should be, secondly they are the biggest liars i have yet to meet to date and their service is pathetic not to mention their level of cleaniness.
