Last year I came to enquire about an extended warranty on my polo, as being and looking young I was not taken seriously. They advised me to do an 80 point check which I went through with. Only after spending over 2 grand they told me that I cannot get the extended plan because I had an exhaust modification. They treated me badly and lacked respect. Not helpful at all and I feel it is because I was young with a nice Car. I ended up driving to Claremont where I got my extended plan even though I had an exhaust modification. I advise you if you want good service to make the drive to Claremont if you want to be taken seriously. They are a bunch of clowns and I seemed to know more about their cars then they did

Driver's door could not close and VW Stellenbosch managed to find a workaround that enabled the door to close, adjusted my head lights and didnt charge me a cent. Great service!

I would not recommend going to this dealership. They do not communicate with you whatsoever and they damaged my vehicles rim and tried to cover it up in the process. When I complained about it, they didn't have the decency to respond but what do you expect when they cannot even pick up the phone to tell you what is wrong with the car.I was willing to look past the damage on the cars rims because it already had a slight scratch and my mother had a good relationship with one of the ladies who works there, a big thank you to the lady for assisting us with VW ALERT and for telling us how it works when your car is still under warranty but the service manager is a down right liar! I will not name and shame him on here but he tried to discredit the towing company by saying saying delivered my car late before closing time, when the towing company communicated with me every step of the way and sent proof at to when my car was delivered past 12pm and then NTT still called me around 1pm to confirm the car has been dropped off and the service manager will call me shortly. Let me real you, HE NEVER CALLED NOT ONCE, not on the Friday my car was delivered and not once up until next week Wednesday when collecting my Golf. The damage in the driver side was so bad it has dents in it, they tried covering it up with a thick black and orange texture rubber like paint. Here's the thing, if you have nothing to hide, why cover the damage, and why lie about the vehicles delivery time. How unorganized and dumb must you be to not check with the admin team who let me know when the car arrived. Not just that, they did inspection on the vehicle and it was not even done properly, they captured my registration wrong too, I have the simplest custom plates and they can't even do that right. Seriously, pathetic service and liars! The damage on the rim is costing me over R1500 to repair when it was previously just going to cost me R700. I have attached everything in an email and just silence. This is exactly why you rather take your vehicle to Barons and pay the extra money just for the Barons name, when their service is far better than these wanna be vw dealers! Pathetic Pathetic! Do not take your vehicle here! It's very clear that they do not care about your vehicle or the client experience!

Recently had a 120 000km major service at the branch. Was told that my steering rack needed to be replaced. This with labour would cost approximately R10 000. Decided to not go through with the replacement as there no signs, when driving, that there were any issues.Had two other assessments completed at VW branches and found that there were no issues with my steering rack and that the car is in good driving condition. Also found that they missed that my lower control arm bushes needed to be replaced.

Been a customer with them for a while now. Recently had issue with my battery and my radio stopped working and needed a code to start working again. They were the only Volkswagen willing to help me fix the radio without charge or appointment. Super friendly even gave me coffee while I waited. Thanks for the great service. This is how you get loyal customers. Appreciate you guys.

What an amazing experience we have had with Craig, such professional and friendly service is to be commended. He went beyond the extra mile before he has even met us.

If I could rate this place -5 it would be too generous. From the sales team where nothing is ever a problem and can be contacted at any time" (until you have bought the car and something goes wrong) to the service department that apparently does not know how to service a car. Today was yet another of SEVERAL incidences over the last 7 years since purchasing and owning new vw cars from this franchise. Our family have been vw owners for more than 50 years
