5 out of 24 counters manned of which 3 are actively assisting tax payers? I have been waiting for over 20 minutes just to scan documents. Shocking service delivery!!!

The most efficient appointment process. Walked in and was out within 30 minutes. Zero waiting time....

Please do book online, it is a must even post covid. If you arrive without a booking they will assist you at the counter to book online for a future date. Very efficient and well laid out, hardly any wait time if you arrive with a pre-booking.

Opened early!! A warm and friendly greeting from the security staff and swift attention from the chap organising the ques. Properly staffed with only 1 or 2 empty teller windows. The place is spotless and there are several easily identifiable blokes strolling around pointing out where you need to be. The ticket queing system works efficiently too and eliminates any que jumping. An experience i was dreading actually turned into a really positive experience :)

Ridiculously efficient. Was prepared to have a several hour wait, but from parking my car to leaving was less than 20minutes. I’m astonished. Friendly staff, easy parking and well staffed. I didn’t even have time to sit down before my ticket number was called.

The compassion shown to my 88 year old mother at SARS Umhlanga today was amazing. To the security gentleman at the parking entrance, the lady at reception and the tax consultant who dealt with my mother I would like to say a big THANK YOU! The whole procedure took about 20 minutes.

I am from the old school where you want to meet the Sars assistant face to face. Upon entering I was turned away because I didn't make an appointment. The younger generation prefers doing things online and on social media, definitely not me. The Muslim Indian lady at reception was outright rude. She has no people's skills like greeting, having a warm disposition, looking at you straight in the face when communicating rather than looking elsewhere when talking to customers from the public and rather harsh when she speaks.Despite me telling her that I travelled far and wish to speak to a consultant, she arrogantly shoved a A5 page to me and told me to read it and follow the instructions on it.Upon querying if I follow the instructions on the leaflet, will I get an appointment to come in, she blatantly told me, No. Someone will call you and assist you over the phone.A person of her calibre should not be seated upfront to assist customers.Pathetic service from a Sars official.

VERY BAD SERVICE HAD A TELEPHONIC APPOINTMENT @ 10AM...@ 11:50AM A MISS CALL APPEARS ON MY MOBILE...AND THEY HAVE NOW CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT. I DO NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES TO MAKE ANOTHER ONLINE APPOINTMENT HOW CAN I RESOLVE THIS?
