Don't respond to potential customer queries.Update (2022/12/12, after FM Solar's response to my review): I contacted FM Solar's Pretoria branch via e-mail for the first time on 29 November. I received a response the same day asking for my phone number so that I could be contacted to set up an appointment for a site visit. I provided my number. I did not receive any further communication (neither via e-mail, nor via phone). I then sent a follow-up e-mail on 1 December, but I have to date still not had a response via phone or e-mail from the Pretoria branch.My first e-mail to FM Solar's head office was on 5 December, and their response came on 9 December, which was only after my original Google Maps review (above) was posted.I truly do understand that a company could be very busy at present (as all solar installers are). A long waiting time for contracted work would therefore be totally acceptable to me. In fact, even simply being notified that a company does not currently have the capacity to assist me would also have been entirely acceptable and understandable.What I still find disappointing, however, is that queries are responded to very slowly, or, as is still the case with FM Solar's Pretoria branch, not answered at all. If a company tells me that it will phone me, and fails to do so, even after I have tried following up, it makes me concerned about whether I want to contract its services. It's not acceptable to me that a company's response is please call again
