Friendly. Helpful and professional. This is like service from another Era. This shop is worth a visit to see and hear all the old clocks ticking away and chiming on the hour. Here one can see a real cuckoo clock as well as many other wonderful timepieces. The place to go for batteries and repairs. Some wristwatches on sale as well.

I never write reviews but was so impressed by the fact that John could probably fix any watch you bring to him. We are of this generation where if something is broken its easier to just buy another one. With watches, they sentimental and you want to keep them. Will definately be using him again and taking my grandfather clock that has not worked for years to him to fix.Thank you so much.

I'm sure they do good work, however I felt like they ( I presume the owners and a friend sitting behind the counter) truly made fun of my question, didn't appreciate being made a fool of in their store.

Exceptional and excellent service.I had taken my Micheal Kors & wooden watch for repairs. It took Mr Findlay a half and hour to repair both for the cost of R80.A job that would of costed around R1500 & six weeks waiting period at Michael Kors.I recommend John Findlay with the highest admiration.

I have an automatic Fossil watch that had a hand come loose for the 2nd or 3rd time. Previously I sent it to Fossil who would take 8-12 weeks and charge me R650-R1000 for the service". This time I asked around and John Findlay was recommended. I dropped off my watch at 1pm
