I have been going there for almost 30 yrs and maybe I am biased but I just love the quality of the cakes and Mariam.and Tnaya are such lovely people. Awesome high quality bakery.

I received excellent service, same day preparation (confirm with them as well) and instructions on my purchase of a Black Forest cake. The cake itself was excellent. The balance of sweetness and flavours, softness of the cake, and overall the quality of ingredients used were really good.

Great choice of cakes and biscuits. I bought a cake for my birthday, it was really delicious and fresh.

I had ordered a chocolate chiffon cake and quite a few smaller treats for my 50th birthday. Thank goodness the cake was good but the smaller treats were horrible! Cupcakes were dry and tasteless and the eclairs" were rock-hard and just piped with cream...no chocolate nor anything else to make it at least palatable. Thank goodness I had a plan B for my guests. Will never purchase from them again."

Always welcomed with friendly staff and excellent service! They are contract bakers and make limited daily bakes for walk in customers to ensure freshness. My go to place for any function big or small. Their milk tart, yum-yums and fruit cake slices are a must !!!

It's a Small Bakery that stocks the most amazing variety of cakes. Their milk tart and caramel cheese cake is the best. My only Go To Bakery.The owner and her daughter gives customers a warm welcome. Staff is helpful and friendly. Place is always clean.A Def 10/10 from me.

I ordered a cheese cake for Christmas day and the cake was mouldy. I phoned, even uploaded a picture of the mould on the cellphone number provided, and no one even returned my call. Very dissapointing.

I live in the UK and needed a birthday cake for my niece in ct. I found classic bakery on the Internet and was very happy to learn that they are operating during these unprecedented times. I was looking at their specialty cakes and chose two designs which I hoped would be available at short notice. I contacted the store on the 18 Th May in hope of getting my cake on the same day. Mariam whom I had dealt with was so professional and absolutely amazing, she emailed me a picture of a beautiful cake which she made for me the same day. She absolutely listened and understood my needs, she delivered complete perfection, in both taste and design. I also read previous reviews on her website, and her milk tarts seemed to be the talk of Town, so yes I had to add one to my order along with red velvet cupcakes and some fruit tarts. The pictures of the cakes were beautiful and my family were over the moon happy with everything, they came back to me saying everything was fantastic and that they couldn’t fault a thing. I look forward to my future trips to Cape Town even more now:) Thank you Mariam for delivering such good service at such short notice. Thank you for making our celebration so special with your special cakes:) My family and I are now your loyal customers forever xx
