Hartlief Deli Gardens

Firstly I have to say that I love your food, but today my experience was not as great as always. I ordered a take-away roast beef roll, with mayo. I love the Hartlief mayo. But the mayo used on my roll was watery and did not have the usual firm, creamy consistency. It changed the taste experience and mouthfeel of the roll completely. Please speak to your suppliers to go back to the old recipe.

Incredible service and quality. Fed 30 people on a piece of pork neck that cost only R250! Beautifully butterflied and the marinade provided was outstanding. Butcher went the extra mail - didn’t get his name but he was a chose dude I believe.Love this place. So consistent. Thanks!

Not as good as it used to be .Some products are my favorite s so I pursue these .

Nothing fancy basic seating for a, quick sit down and eat. Good basic comfort food served in canteen style at reasonable prices. We had the eisbein with sauerkraut and pork belly with mash. The eisbein was good but lacked the crackling. The deli has some delicious takeaway rolls, excellent cold meats and other meats. The coffee is also good. I wouldn't rave about their cakes. The staff are really friendly.

A great place to visit and stock up on deli products. From butchery food items to home cooked meals and cold meats. Friendly and helpful service each time. Located in the Gardens Shopping Centre with ample parking space available.

Brilliant German food on budget prices

Hartlief Deli Gardens really you are becoming a bunch of thieves. Have supported you for a very long time. Your sourdough bread has decreased by 15 - 20% in weight yet you keep same price! ripp off !To add add extra insult lately your bread is full of holes..... this is not Ciabatta!

For price and taste of food they get a 3 star review. Cleanliness could be improved as well as service speed and attitude. What disappoints me is this was once a flourishing deli with shelves full of interesting items laid out beautifully. The decor and product selection are now more in line with a neglected corporate cafeteria. Feels a bit sad.

I was pleasantly surprised, a wonderful place to visit. They have amazing food, everything under one roof. I'm going back very soon, love their food, great service and friendly staff

Two days ago I left an order with Gavin for about 10 different items among them Tartare Fleischsalad Herring Salad and a variety of cold meat selection for this morning to be collected early at just after 08:00.At the time of order I asked twice to please confirm this order would be ready just after 8:00. He insisted, yes, they open at 08:00 the order would be prossessed before and I can rely on this timing.Guesss what? All the sales assistents were standing and waiting for their customers but no-one had bothered to start with my order.The order was attached to the pin board as two days prior.I left without any purchases.This is not the first time this happened.They have no reliable process to execute orders.
