Sherwood's Country House

The scenery is amazing, the food was perfect and the hosts were excellent! Make sure you do the avo trail when you visit!

Sherwood is rated a 4 Star establishment. It delivers on every star. With all the amenities, facilities and hospitality associated with the best. Neat, Clean crips linen and a country home feel. Breakfast was included in the package, a good wholesome English breakfast. I was seriously impressed with the COVID19 protocols surrounding breakfast buffet. Rooms are spacious and the gardens big with spectacular scenery. Access to and from Sherwood is good, roads through the mountains & forests / plantations a good & comfortable drive (minus a few potholes). The only down side was our room (twin room) did not have a door or curtain to the bathroom, so no privacy. WIFI is available from the house - as to cellphone reception, little to none.

Have stayed there often over the years and it's always a most pleasant experience with extremely pleasant hosts and good food!

There was a power Failure at 21 00pm on 5 December 2022 and Till I left there at 08 00am on 6 December 2022 the Power was still off. There is a Generator but the Owners only started the Generator at 06 30am on 6 December 2022 for whatever reason..Without power for nearly 11 hours meant thete wasnot hot watef for SHower, phone battery did as it could not be charged. Will take legal action to get a Refund and WILL NOT stay therre ever again and will use other social media to name and shame the place.Stephan Bsm
