Love the nature, loved it here! The view is spectacular and the walk really isn't hard or far. Definitely worth going.

The Kaapschehoop reserve is spectacularly beautiful and offers ample opportunity for both the fit, not so fit, and all in between to explore the beautiful scenery. If you're lucky, you can spot the wild horses foraging.

Kaapschehoop Nature Walk
Beautiful. For a weekend or a week. Lots of short hikes and a great short walk up to the escarpment with views over the Barberton valley. Great walk with dogs. Weather is unpredictable with 4 seasons in one day. Also a beautiful picnic site with a walk to a waterfall which is a more moderate level walk. Beautiful old gold digger houses and a great little gem in Mizz Goozberry... do a high tea with the best cakes ever.

Kaapschehoop Nature Walk
Unique landscape and geology. A good choice for a hiking trail for the whole family, because it is well marked and not difficult. Beautiful view from a cliff at the end of the trail. Can easily be done in an hour

Kaapschehoop Nature Walk
Stunning day hikes and trails that are well marked and managed. However a word of caution to those planning the overnight hikes, the management is poorly run. The overnight facilities are still well kept and clean. Would not recommend a group of women to stay over alone though.

Kaapschehoop is like a wonder of the world. Amazing rock formations which make for a great walk to the escapement view. The town has so much history and is very welcoming. A must see!

Beautiful setting on the mountain. Old world charm. A better indication of where to go and the hiking trails will assist first time visitors. The aloes in winter and roaming wild horses are highlights.

Very cool and unusual. Rock formations give it a stone environment. Kids love the Challenge and nature of these rock boulders". You need good climbing shoes and preferable ankle socks if sporting shorts. Worth the walk - great views. ⛰️"
