**update: the store employee reached out to me privately on Facebook messenger after this review to tell me how terrible it is that I voiced my concerns publicly. The strange thing is that 3 different people of my family received the same service in the same week. I do not appreciate being contacted on Facebook. Do not deal with these people.The most shocking service from the man who answers the phone and from the store owner. You call and they redirect you to a WhatsApp number (store owner) who takes hours to get back to your message (because he doesn’t answer his phone if you call). I see from other reviews that this is a recurring issue. Didn’t even get to getting a bike because we couldn’t make it through to anyone who was helpful or friendly.

Beware!!! This business is run by dishonest crooks. Hamber the owner won't pay deposits or refunds back even after countless empty promises. I hired a MTB which was faulty. Hamber promised to pay back my deposit and refund me the total of R6730.I have not seen a cent from him. He is now ignoring my WhatsApp messages . Don't give them your business.

Dropped my vintage bicycle to be stripped and sent for re-spraying. Paid full price upfront to strip and put back together once re-sprayed. This was done under docket no.5224 May 2018. I've sent emails, spoken to reception, been into the shop on many many occasions with no resolution. Bearing in mind I live an hours drive from the shop. I then phoned the owner who told me that he'd get back to me & would look into the matter ... this was approx 6 months ago. Respect for one another telephonically & personally from staff when I called was always present & never were there any heated conversations, but to date I've not received one email or even a a courtesy phone call from them, ever. I just want my bicycle back in one piece as promised. Apart from all the inconvenience & cost already incurred with having to chase them up I am now forced to incur more costs & inconvenience by going the legal route. Very sad and very disappointing Cycle Teknix, you came highly recommended to me by many folk that are very good customers of yours.

The staff on the ground floor are quite helpful and really nice . The store content is great and so is the quality of their products.However the service from the store manager/ owner is appalling and does not deserve a star.I sent in my bicycle to this store for re-selling in early 2022 , I have been requesting for payment since they successfully sold my bicycle. I have not received my money , it has been over months!Contacted the store manager several times , even went in to the store to enquire. He always says he’ll pay , but does not .They requested for account details more than twice but refuse to pay me back for my bicycle which they sold . Sadly I have to take this further and probably spend more than what they owe me .If you require similar service , I suggest you go elsewhere .

Worst service ever! Dude behind the counter was completely useless and gave the poorest service ever. Was more interested with what’s going on behind his desk on the computer. Very unprofessional and lazy. They wont get my support.
