A fascinating shop filled with great deals and bargains. It is a bit chaotic inside and does tend to be quite messy during the day. Staff are generally friendly although one or two encounters could have been more helpful.

This store was recommended to me; I was looking for tulle (soft and thin) for my embroidery project. Upon entering the store, I knew I would find what I needed. The guy at the entrance (by Main Road) immediately told me where the tulle was, and I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of colours and types. There were so many that I had a hard time choosing the colours. Then a kind man helped cut the fabrics and told me where to pay. Walking through the store, you can see the wide variety of fabrics, materials, and accessories, from sewing to embroidery. I was impressed at the till they treated me kindly. I recommend if you go by car to avoid parking on Main Road, as it is somewhat chaotic.If I need more fabrics for my projects, I will surely return to Fabric World Wynberg. Friendly attention, variety and quantity of products, and very good prices.

Range range range. They have a wide range of fabric and you spend more time here than you think because there are so many choices.A big shourtout to Whalid who really knows his stuff and was able to give great advice on what fabric would work with what outfit.On the other hand, sometimes the service experience is a let-down with store assitants showing little interest nor answering questions.It suits people who know exactly what they want rather than newbies.It would be nice to have a list of tailors with specific specialities posted in the store.
