Used to be Halaal, no longer halaal(no longer purchase from united fish and meats) and they won't tell their Muslim customers this, they will let you continue buying despite that... its a community trust thing so we always overlooked the non halaal certificate. Slap in the face after years of trust from the Muslim community... only found out by calling, they will still tell you in person it's halaal.

They have good selection of baked goodies. The baked food is eggless. They also have good curries and bunny chows and sandwiches. We usually buy food from here when visiting Chatsworth. They are a mini supermarket as well.

Without a doubt the best and freshest baked goods, the doughnuts are the best I've ever eaten and the fish cakes are awesome too. I absolutely love the fact that it's a home style bakery and not a commercialized one, gives you that home feeling with a price that wont make you broke. I will always support businesses that keep the consumers budget in mind without compromising on quality. It is worth a 100km drive to get their baked goods!!! Thank you Anands and may you have many more years of spoiling our tastebuds!

Most Delicious Fish Cakes, that's if you like it spicy... the only way it should be !!!, Mutton bunny was authentic,like a home cooked curry with evidence of familiar whole spices we use, it's the closest I have tasted to home cooked curry, I usually don't buy Indian Food because I always find it substandard compared to what I cook at home but Anands Bakery comes close,so for when I don't have the time to cook, I'd definitely consider them an option.
