Seascape Marine for spare parts were not a problem.So called macanics worked on my yanmar Saildrives and they made me sign a waver to guarantee that they wouldn't leak salt water.At great expense the vessel was put back in the water and by the time I got back to my berth one drive was full of water.They knew it would fail and instead of fixing the problem or advising on what I should do they just watched me sail away, and because I'd signed a waver for their dodgy work, I had no comeback.Seems like all the good trades people in South Africa have left the country.As a foreign cruiser I would not recommend Seascape Marine in Cape Town.If you do,, get them to sign a waver for bad and overpriced workmanship.

Yanmar great engine

The service is great. They have a Nespresso machine for the special customers. Pop in for a coffee and chat about everything marine.
