Got robbed in broad daylight its marked a hotspot but no security at all and people want to wash your vehicle if you refuse they scratch your car. And police does nothing

Very sad to see such an iconic venue collapsing into a state of such disrepair. The pond and the fish are pretty, but the grounds are covered in litter and rubbish, the shop is closed, and the parking lot eerie and felt unsafe. Left after about ten minutes.

The place is very beautiful but the maintenance of the place is very poor. This is a major tourist attraction/landmark in the area , the municipality must keep the place at its best condition.

Overpopulated, badly maintained, pests like lice, rubbish lying around, water dirty. Badly managed. Municipality doing a bad job.

The spring itself is beautiful, with clear water covered by lilly leaves and shaded by trees. You can see it was one a wonderful and peaceful place. It's claim to fame is that it is the largest known natural spring in the southern hemisphere. Unfortunately the place is terribly managed and the area is run down my vagrants. Also the street around the eye is filthy dirty and smells of urine. The area does not feel safe and there is no safe parking. Be careful for your own safety and also your presanal belongings. When we visited everything was locked up, even thought times said it should have been open. Palacade fence has be cut open in a few places and vagrants are using the park to sleep. Drive right past, you can give this place a miss.

Once a beautiful place to take your family but now it STINKS as water stands, poorly maintained, the Municipality really neglected this once beautiful place. The Second Eye is much better, it's a few kilometers away towards Vryburg.

Great scenery. Lots of fish.Needs to be cleaned up. Full of trash, both in and out the water. Toilets not usable.

Kuruman is not offering much as tourist attraction and I found only this one place as attraction point on the map and on my way through town I paid it a visit, as such the body of water is amazing but the surrounding areas, perhaps being close to the central business area, neglected and it creates an unsafe feeling, being day light I went through and there was absolute nothing that gave me the feeling that if I did not stop I missed out on something. Perhaps town officials will note the remarks done by others and do something to uplift the appearance around this little gem.

No more a nice place like before. Not to say I'm criticized the blacks but since that place falling under the blacks management ijoooo not clean like before. But poor people are paying for entrance. What the payment for if the place can't be clean. All they know is to pocket the money not doing their work. You can also see the town is not good. Town planner is not doing his work. Just eating the money and doing nothing. FNB street during rainfall you can't even go to spar or standard bank because of water. Kuruman is no more a place for tourist. Because of callese management.

Was looking forward to my first visit to Kuruman and Die Oog but after reading reviews and my wife nearly got robbed today , I'll leave early tomorrow. Travelers and visiters have NO mercy.
